A new trick. The caller ID reported a cell phone from California and I had friends on vacation in CA. I answered the phone only to be met with the usual scam artist approach. The number of calls per week is relentless.

This number (510) 699-9215 called and I am on the do not call list.  It is a recording that states from the get go, Don't Hang Up...  Of course, I hung up immediately!  It appears to be from Oakland, CA.

I just got a call from this number.  I missed the call but heard it ring... no one left a message.

My caller Id said it is from UK Debt Svc with a CA number.

Got a call this morning.  Caller ID said UK Debt Serv.  I called back and got a recording to press one to be removed from "preferred marketing list."  What BS  That is BLEEP DOODOO.  BLEEP SHINOLA.

i got a call from the same # claiming it was a recording from the PD. ughh

Immediate "DO NOT HANG UP, YOUR HOME HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR A FREE GE".. which is where I hung up...and yes I am on the Do not call Registry...

Got the second call from this number in last four days, telling me I've been selected for a free home security system. Am on do-not-call list. Have a referee's whistle and next call will listen through message to get to a live body, then whistle them for a foul. This seems to have worked in previous situations where I was offered a reduced rate on my credit card debt.

Phone numbers on the Do Not Call Registry DO NOT expire anymore so don't believe any scammer that tells you differently.

Everyone needs to report all these junk calls by going to the DoNotCall.gov website and clicking the "File a Complaint" link on the left side of the screen.  Filling it out is quick and simple!

I just returned home to a call on my voicemail from 510-699-9215 with a recording selling a "Medical Alert Button from Security Solutions."  It ended with "Press 1 to find out how to get free security system with installation, Press 2 to be placed on their Do Not Call list." (I didn't press anything).

I immediately filed the complaint at DoNotCall.gov and then came here to report it further.

Yeah, I got a call today from this number.  I added this one to my block list.  :-)  I'm pretty sure it's another phishing scam.

I love getting a real person. My usual thing I say to them, whether its a male or female, is F--K Y-U, A-S H--E and then hang up and block the number. The way I see it is, I can say any thing I want to them because they called me, I didn't call them. Being on the do not call list means nothing anymore!!!

Got a call from this number on my answering machine. BS about a free security system if they can put a sign in my yard. Yeh, sure. So their guys can get the lay of the house for a burglary.
