Received the same type call a few minutes ago, hang up with no message left. Probably just another phone sales stalker.

Called me twice in the past two days. First one, someone in the house picked up and said they were looking for me and as soon as housemate said I wasn't home, they hung up. Second time, another housemate picked up and they said they would call back. Waiting on it. Caller ID is The Law Offices.

    Fed Up!!
Received a call each day on my landline for the past 2 days. The first one on 4/22 at 6:30pm, the second one on 4/23 at 6:46pm. Caller ID says "The Law Offices" and the phone number. Both times I let the answering machine pick up the call but as soon as it does, the call hangs up. Losers!!

Same thing here. This bag of dirt took my phone number for a spin for the first time yesterday....a new scuzzo in the scamming game, I guess. When I saw "The Law Offices" I thought it might be legit as I thought the caller i.d. may have been cut off as in "The Law Offices of Huey Dewy and Louie".

So glad I checked this website before they called again. I might have picked up. These scammers keep trying new approaches and the DNC list does no good to stop them. Anyone legitimate would leave a message with appropriate information. In addition, legal issues are nearly always handled by mail or courier with a signature required or a summons served by a licensed person. A "Law Office" won't call you out of the blue.

Called my wife's cell phone yesterday. No message left. Seems like the scammers is in season. Looks like it'll be another round of reporting violations of the do-not-call list.

Called twice in the past two days.  Caller ID says "LAW OFFICE OF ROBERT WIECKOWSKI".  I never deal with Polish lawyers (just kidding!!!).  :-D  I've never dealt with a lawyer so these folks are definitely defying the Do Not Call registry.

Been receiving several calls from this number the past few days. Just now they actually left a message. The background was loud (obvious call center) and he was hard to understand anyway. Said something about how elections are coming up and that I will be receiving a ballot in the mail. I couldn't make out the rest.

Sounds like some election officials contracted out voting reminders, but the contractors they used suck.

I also got a call yesterday, Thursday, May 1, 2014 and no message was left either.  I also want to inform the public that Robert A. Wieckowski aka Bob Wieckowski, is California State Assembly Member.  He is a real person and he has his own law office because he is also an attorney.  If you got a call from his number, it's most likely his campaign team doing their political campaign call or to get your opinion or support on a ballot measure related to the State of California.

Got a call yesterday as well. Thank you for your response--helps to know this. It makes a lot of sense, since it is that time when politicians are looking for new voters. They will often call people's phones or stop by their houses around this time of year. I received many messages from politicians in the past. Not a big deal. I don't blame them for trying--campaigning is what makes them or breaks them. :-)

Just got a call from this number - no message.  If it is indeed the afore-mentioned politician, he won't get my vote no matter what.  I'll do some research first of course.

    M. Yee, do not try to confuse the public about his dual status. Using a debt collection law office disclosure for political campaigning would be considered deceptive don't you think?

It's a debt collection number abusing, deceiving, exploiting, and disguising, their intent! How's that?

If you call back you get a message that says the "voicemail box for Bob Wieckowski for state senate is full." Robocall since we have the CA state primary next month (Jun 2014)??

It's Robert Wieckowski, running for California State Senate.  The earlier calls had a caller ID of "LAW OFFICE OF ROBERT WIECKOWSKI".  Then it switched to just the phone number.  Today, the caller ID simply shows "0".  Looks like Mr. Wieckowski is willing to change his caller ID at least twice to talk to me.  That doesn't bode well for my willing to vote for him.
