no voicemail was left and not sure who this number belongs to.

Caller claimed to be from HP with an important message.  Right.... no thank you

Think it's a scam.. Asked to verify company with website, call back number and Presidents of his company's name. Got nothing.

Has to be a scam.. to many different names of the company with one number.

Called for a retired employee.  Asked if this was the main number or a personal extension then rudely hung up on me.

Just called and played music.  No-one there.

So someone, sounded like an Indian guy, called my WORK phone number. Not our 1-800 number but my direct ext and after I answered normally (saying the company name and my first name) the caller proceeded to say my first and last name, as if he was confirming who I was. For example, if my name is Jane Doe and I work at XYZ company, I answered and said "XYZ, Jane speaking" and the guy said "Jane Doe?" and I said "Yes". After I said "Yes" he hung up. It's the first time it's happened to me, but I informed my Security dept and I also filed a complaint with the FTC. BTW I didn't call them back and they haven't called back...yet.

Asked to speak with someone not at this location.  When I informed him of this he demanded I check the global directory.  I asked what it was concerning, he refused to tell me.  He was very rude.  I think he has called before, I reconized his voice.  Wish I could block these calls.

Same thing just happened to me.

Called my business asking for me directly.  When I answered I was hung up on.  Probably a scam.

Surely it was an Indian Voice..

Just said Ajay Kuma...& hung up...

I tried calling back only to realize that the number was never getting connected or ringing...

This guy is INDIAN. He called my work, my cell several times asking for me. He identified himself as Doctor Peters so I asked him what kind of doctor he is.  He then replied to me that he is a surgeon.
I asked him why he wants to talk to me, he then hung up on me after saying "[***] off".
He called me again after the incident so I said that " You [***] off. don't call me again."
He was very stupid because he didn't know I'm the same person who answered the phone 5 times straight but didn't realize that it was me who answered his phone calls.
I called back at  510-907--8972 but no one answered the phone at all.

Yes, same thing just happened to me.

This just happened to me. Indian voice, called my work, spoke to my boss and asked for me personally. I answered and they asked if my name was*****when I replied yes, they hung up. It says the call was from Oakland, CA. When I called back there was a message saying it was a non working number. Obviously a scam, but highly frustrating they are calling me at work. Unsettling.

Called said my name then hung up.. bunch of thieves from India! or US! But Indian accent

Somehow this person got my work number and called for me but used my maiden name. Not sure how he got any of that info but after confusing the guy who had answered the call, he hung. What the heck, man. Stahpppp
