Spanish speaking callers - no idea what they are saying.  Calls several times a day?

Called twice at 11:30 pm----no idea? tried calling back said number not in service

I received a call from this number (512) 199-4200
TX, USA. After doind research the number does not exist, is not an active line. There is a possibility whoever is calling is using a FAKE CALLER ID PROGRAM. The original number is being blocked by a fake number, you will not be able to see their number and they are hiding behind a phone number that it doesnt exist. BECAREFUL.

Got a call from (512) 199-4200.  A guy with an Indian accent told me he was calling from 'nation computer repair' and that they detected a virus on my computer.  It was obviously a scam so I started messing with the guy. Every time he got halfway through a sentence I'd yell out "THAT SOUNDS GREAT!!!!".  It took about 10 times before he finally got frustrated and hung up.  Ahh, the little joys in life.  Anyway, it's total scam.  Beware.

This guy tried to scam money from me saying he was from the federal crime investation and said i had loan i never paid back but couldn't give me information or what bank it came from then he threw out US bank and i don't bank with them nor have i ever.  Said they would be at my house at 9 with 3 police officers and 4 lawers i said okay i will be there to meet them.  he hung up and kept calling back and not saying anything.  Don't be scared and play this game

i just recieved a call about 20 min ago from a woman saying i took out a loan,and never payed them back .She mentioned a pay day loan witch i cant even qualify for a loan because my account is currently overdrafted.she said there was going to be a warrent out for my arrest,and something about the cops being at my house in 2 houers.i called my local police department in barre vt and they said it was a scam i know the number is from texas.but i want to report this to whoever it may concern and press charges

I received this call on Sept 20 7:55 pm. No one was on the line and my caller ID said Unknown

I got a call from this number and the lady said her name was Sarah Berry and I had been approved for a $10,000 loan.She said she was from Unison Finance . She said all I had to do was pay $400. for a income protection policy up front and then the money would be put in my account. RIGHT!!!. Told her no thanks

Got a call from some with an indian accent who claims his name is Ricky and he's calling from..Get this!  The nation computer maintenance department.  WOW! Stated that he detected problems with our computer that we can't see.  wanted me to log onto my computer so that i can give him control of my computer so that he can get rid of the virus.  I said give me your number in the event i get disconnected so that i can call you back.  Ths [***] head gave me (954) 374-1190..I said you know that's not a valid number  [***] for brains now get to Fcuk off my phone you dead beat...

I got a call from this guy this morning. His pitch today was a minor variation on the "you have a virus" story described in other postings. But he said he was from "Microsoft Windows" which adds another level of fraud to the record. I played along to see where it might go. He said he would remove the virus, and instructed me to open the Run utility and enter mt.www.teamviewer.com. That's when I hung up. TeamViewer is conferencing software whose features include remote access to and control of other computers. Mine, for instance.
No thanks.

Just got a call from this guy.  What a scam !

I received a call from this number a few hours ago and didn't answer because it was not familiar, after I typed it in google and saw everyone else's comments, I am so glad I didn't answer! Thanks all of you, for taking the time to provide info and help us all be more informed about these scammers.

caller stated he was call from the Philippines and that a virus has infected me computer and I need to turn my computer on immediately and he implied that he could correct the problem. When I told him there was no problem with my computer, he told me it was in the hard drive and it was impacting windows operating systems. I told him he did not know what he was talking about and he told me I needed to go back to school. I hung up. he has called twice now with the same scam. I know someone who actually followed this guys' instructions and their computer was hacked and crashed.

Someone with Indian accent called with this number. He said that my computer is being infected with virus. I asked him how you knew. He said that when I registered my computer, that info goes to the computer company; he told my computer address and some numbers that correctly matched. But when I asked him where I bought the computer and myname, he did not give the right answer.

Just got two calls from this no. within the space of 2 minutes! First time didn't pick up, second time round did what I like to do in these cases - pick up with the speakerphone button but then don't say anything - throws them every time (provided there is actually a person on the other side); a confused woman's voice started speaking what I could swear was German (odd because I actually happen to be German so checked no. again to make sure it wasn't someone I did know!). [***], how I hate those calls!!!

Total scam- Indian man called from 512-199-4200 and said he worked for windows and claimed I made a report from on error on my computer. Never happened he full of crap. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Don't trust

Man called today, elderly Mother & I answered phone simultaneously...man claiming to be her grandson on other end...said he was in Mexico for friend's wedding, when I got suspicious & asked him who he was...all he would say was 'this is your grandson'...no name...Mother inadvertently gave him the ammo he needed by asking 'Is this Greg?'...he latched right onto that & said 'Yes, my name is Greg'...I interrupted & asked him what his Mother's name was...he kept insisting he was the grandson Greg but when I pushed him, saying 'If you are who you say you are then tell me your Mother's first name?" he just hung up....SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!  He never got around to asking for money or anything but I suspect only because I called him out....

Same ole thang!  SCAM . . . this afternoon I received a call from this number saying I have a virus on my computer . . . I told the "barely speaking English" woman that I am an IT specialist and I know better . . . she hung up!

It's a crying shame the FBI or some government agency cannot get these creeps and put them away for good.

Said he was looking for Shelia Thompson happened on Wednesday october 24,th around 2:06 pm.  I answered as if I was the owner of the household and told them my name was Brenda Bartee. He said unhum and hung up. Brenda Tried to call back and was a dummy number. someone is hiding behind this number.
