Not all that many calls received per my Caller ID, however I'm always suspicious when the caller is identified as "Private Caller".  I called the number, got an automated response that informed me the call I got was not of an urgent nature, identified themselves as "SWA" and gave me a chance to leave a Voice Mail.  I left a VM giving my name & phone number, asked to be placed on their Do Not Call List, & that I did not know who SWA was.  Since this is a local number for me, I did research my yellow pages a bit.  I did not find any separate SWA, though there are a ton of "Southwest" something or others.  Most obvious would be Southwest Airlines, but there were other possibilities.  SWA Googled got the same kind of results.  Nothing confirmed.

I hope this caller dies! I get nothing but harrassing calls from this number all the freaking time!

received call on 8-13. i picked up the phone and no one was on the line.

Got the (512) 215-4107 call today. Austin, TX area code; could be Sprint.

I got it too - they did not leave a message.  Local to my area.

Spoke with Kevin from SWA. He gave me the information I needed to claim my Lincoln Navigator. I'm glad I answered the call, because I normally don't answer unavailable calls past 7:00 PM. Mailed in my 300.00 tax payment, and suppose to go pick up the car next friday. It's a dream come true!!!

On Aug 15, someone called me supposedly with a State Trooper's organization and wanting a donation.  Pure bogus.  
Caller ID was listed only as "Private".

A while back I got a call from the State Trooper's organization and wanting a donation.  If you agree and don't pay - they keep calling and calling.  They will not take no for an answer.  My husband lost his job and I do not have $10 to $15 to my name.  Got to buy school clothes.

Got a call from 512-215-4107 today, they hung up when I answered. I called back... obscenities on their answering machine, and a threat to keep sending money or they'd be coming over. Lovely.

Got a call from them tonight.  They hang up as soon as you answer and when you call back they tell you to keep sending your money and they are going to spend it on drugs and such and if you don't send the money they are going to come to your house.  This is a scam!!  Do not send them money!!!

Caller from Texas State Trooper Assoc.  This must be a clearing house for unsolicited telemarketing.

Answered local call from caller ID 512-215-4107, nobody answered. I hung up and called back. Got recorded message to give'em the !@#$ money ect...

Call came in while I was on a tele-conference.  Used my cell to call back thinking it was my sister-in-law.  Got the weird recording threatening me if I didn't send money.  I was unable to track the person or carrier, so I reported it to the San Antonio Police.

A total creep message came on the phone about me donating money and that
could do whatever they wanted to do with the donations.  It was loaded with expletives!


I used to donate to several sheriff's organizations, then one day several weeks ago I stopped these donations.  Don't  tell me that the sheriff's people are doing this?

I just got the same call.  I tried to call back but it says it is disconnected.

These prior reports are from years ago.....well, the number is still active, still trolling....definitely a scam.

Called - left no message

Got the call. Didn't answer, but they left a message.  The message didn't identify the name of the company, but went into a long spiel about how good they were at cleaning windows, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, and everything under the roof.  Left a number to call back 866-322-3838.  At the end of the recorded message, it sounded like someone came on the line.  They said hello? hello? then started tapping on the phone with a pencil or something.  I looked up the 866 number here also, but nothing reported yet.

Just a little advice from a little ol' lady: It's best not to call any of the unfamiliar numbers back, but never give them your name and telephone number if by chance you do call. Just because the area code appears to be the same as yours, disregard that. These numbers are spoofed and aren't of any use in determining the origin of the call. Next time, ignore the call and try to block any future calls from that number. Incidentally, I just had a call from this number myself. I didn't answer it.
