I've been receiving calls from this number for the past 24 hours or so. They never leave a message, and when I've picked up, no one is there.

This is a scammer for "FCS Home Services" claiming to sell security systems.

Caller ID says "Elgin TX"
Regardless of who they are, they are in willful violation of both federal and state do not call laws.
That's all the information you need to know with certainty that it is an illegal scam.

I have been getting calls from the number for about 10 days.   Nearly every day and always on my cell.   Elgin, Texas is nearby and I was tempted to answer.  Glad that I didn't.  How does these jokers get our cell phone numbers?

Yet more telemarketing scum.  The called, claiming they had "randomly selected" my phone, and wanted to sell me security services.  After pushing them back a bit, I got to talk to a "supervisor" (probably just the person at the next desk in their
telemarketing den).  They are "F D S Home Services".  They claimed to be from Dallas.  They also said that they never check with the Do Not Call lists.  I told them that if I ever get a call from them again, I will file a harassment complaint with the police.  Yes, i DO consider this to be a harassing phone call.  Filing complaints with the State and the Feds is completely useless.  All they do is file the information away.  They never actually take any action.  All of the telemarketers have figured this out.   Let's all lean on our Congress Critters to actually put some teeth into the law!

Same s*** as reported above. I asked politely several times to take me off their list as I am not interested, but they keep calling back. I just unloaded on them this time and the guy says "why are you mad at me?" I said it's because  they don't respect polite requests to be left alone.

Surprisingly, if you call them back at 512-229-0357, someone will actually answer. I suggest if they bug you, then return the favor with a bunch of s*** calls back to them. If enough of us bombard them, maybe they'll get the point.

I am calling them back everyday and putting my cell on mute and just sit there. Just to bug them like they are bugging me.

Got a call from this number....no voice mail left.
