Caller said, and I quote: ve are calling from vindows technical department. your computer is downloading wiruses.

I received calls from this number, but did not answer since I did not recognize the number...no message was left, they just hung up..no clue who it was. assuming a telemarketer.

Female caller with heavy accent, said she was calling for AustinTech (sp.?).  The phone number shows up as a Texas number.

She said she was representing windows technical department and my computer was downloading viruses without my knowledge--was I aware of that?  Wanted me to let her guide me through resolving the issue on my computer.  She hung up when I told her this sounded like a scam and that she was wasting my time.

Did not answer and when I try to call back there is no ring but there is a connection without anyone on the phone.
