keeps calling leave message for me to about  crimal charge ,
this happen about 2 years ago and verizon  blocked all calls from number cause they had a lot  of complains

This number has been calling me all day saying the same thing as the 2 posts above. I cussed them out about 4 times and they keep calling back lol

Got a call from this number today and there was so much background noise that I struggled to hear what he (foreign accent) was saying.  Then he said "you are a primary suspect in a fraud investigation" and I interrupted him and said "oh, you are the one my police officer son told me about.  He lives near you in Texas and now this will help him track you down.  So thanks for calling!"  He hung up on me.

It is Monday morning, and the first call I got today was from this creep (I recognized the number from visiting this website on Friday.  Maybe they don't work on weekends!)  Anyway, I reverted to my new method of handling these calls -- I picked up the phone and did not say a word (I hit the mute button on my TV so they can't hear anything from my end).  The background noise is horrendous.  He had a heavy accent.  Once again, I will report this, and I will ask my phone service provider to block this number.  That's not always effective, since they switch numbers constantly or call with no identifying information which prevents us from being able to put on a block.  This one said "Austin TX" on my TV screen.  This is so discouraging, but I can ignore just as many calls as they can make.  We'll see how long it takes before they decide my phone is either not in operation or think it is permanently blocked.

What is going on?? I have had these calls since Nov. of last year. The calls are the same as stated above..that my SSN is linked to a criminal case of fraud. I have called the Federal Trade Com. several times but they said they couldn't do anything about it. I had to call local police in Jan. because they called and said they were going to come to my house and chop my family up in tiny pieces. That's not funny. The policeman knew about these people and said they were from overseas and nothing could be done. He offered to sit in front of my house all night but I felt he was right and that would be a waste of city time. I told him at least they would know who murdered us. Also not funny. What can be done about this. They even had my sister's name and called her about us and she lives in another state and has a different last name. What the hell? I am so sick of these calls....

I forgot to ask everyone if any of them ever went to MDAnderson Cancer Center? The reason for the question is..my husband went to MDAnderson for a second opinion for his cancer and they have a system where you can look up your files on line.We registered my husband and these calls started about 5 months afterwards.As I said in the last post they also called my sister about us and she has a different name and lives out of state from where we live.The only time anyone could link us is when I use her name as an emergency contact.I was just wondering if they have hacked into that medical system? I would love to hear if anyone has been to MDAnderson or the other hospitals in that area?? Thank you for any info.I don't know why this bothers me so much but I suppose it's because everyone has problems and something like these calls just adds to my stress even though I know it's not true it still bothers me.I feel like they are trying to rob me over the phone??

I have been recently been receiving calls from this number on both my cell phone AND my work phone, which ticks me off royally. I went and blocked the number on my cell phone, but they are still calling my work phone. They feed me that crap about the SSN scam and how they can't leave info on my voicemail due to the confidentiality involved...and the guy who calls with the extremely thick Indian accent says his name is "Chris Black", which I don't believe for a second. It's really starting to annoy the crap out of me.

Called me for weeks. They had my address birthdate and last four of my SS#. They said my SS# was linked to a fraud case and he wanted me to stay on hold untill his claims officer could get on the phone. He then said in a Indian accent that I would be arrested in half hour for this crime. I wouldnt let him transfer me, then he said dont worry about it and hung up.

As soon as Iget the correct location I will have the INS pay these a$$ holes a visit. I will noty stop until I get the INS involved so if you have a foriegn accent and you are calling me. You better have some papers to back it up. Yopu are calling from Austin Texas. You should not be to hard to find. I am also giving this information to the FTC. Thats Federal Trade Commisiion for those of you that are trying to rip off honest working Americans.

They called me asking for Russell Bryan!!!!

i have been getting a phone.call from some indian guy saying he is chris black and he is from dispute resolutions and my name and ssn is invovled with a criminal case for fraud! he made a mistake of claiming he is a paralegal!! i am a paralegal so i told him no money has ever been placed in my account and if he didnt stop calling me i would hire my boss who is an attorney and i will sue the hell out of him for false allegation and any other charge i can get him on!!!!!!

I am in Madison Wisconsin.  I have been receiving this abuse call for a couple of weeks since applying for a loan online.  I receive the same message from this number and 904-900-8471.  This afternoon I decided to pick up.  I spoke in a really happy voice, all positive.  He was surprised that I picked up, then went in to how my SSN has been reported for something (could not understand the accent).  He asked for my attorney's number, I told him I was an attorney.  Again, he began stumbling over his words and asked if he could transfer me to the restitution dept.  I said, "Sure!"  I am wishing I didnt because I wonder if they record that part of the conversation and say it was in agreement to something.  Either way, he hasnt called back after I got 'disconnected' when he attempted to transfer me :-)

Man this dude calls me about the same thing and he has the nerve to say his name is Chis Black really slurpee man......How do I get these dudes to stop calling me..........

been receiving calls from 512-394-4903 saying that my ss number was under investigation and the cops would be by to arrest me they keep calling my job and such and recently got me fired because of all the calls that they were making

This number, 512-394-4903 called me, left threatening VMs, i called them back, challenged what they were saying, and they hung up on me, claimed they were sending police officers to my house. I called back 16 times and they either hung up on me, or continued to threaten me. I told them my BF is a police officer and he is doing a trace on them, then the indian man named Fred Williams, or Robin Brown started making sexual commits to me, and telling me how i needed a real man like him, It was completely disgusting and offensive and i cannot believe the things he was saying. I told them never to call me again.

I been recieving these calls AGAIN, this time after eading other post, I decided to try a new tatic, I answered the FBI ofifce, gave a bogus name, they hung up..... try that maybe that will work. then I blocked the numbers on my cell, hopefully this will deter them from calling....the suckers....

My sister has been receiving calls from these idiots for the past two weeks, she called and a female with a strong Indian accent responded, she was asking my sister to confirm her SSN, my sister never did and demanded to receive written notification from this office with address and names, the female was annoyed my sister didn't cooperated with her, I then called and a answering machine came up, the fifth time I called I blocked my number and a male with an Indian accent answered, as others have stated before,  a lot of noise in the background so it was difficult to hear him clearly, I told him I needed the physical address of their office and he proceeded to hang up on me, after some research in the Internet I found this site regarding these people, watch out!!!

I received 3 calls from this number for the same reasons listed above, the lady I couldn't understand and she transfered me to a guy who was speed talking, when I asked him to slow down he got upset and started telling me " You are not talking to a Damn credit collector, you are not talking to a Damn bill collector" so I hung up being that he stated he was calling because my husband hadn't paid a online loan. The guy called me back and said that "if you hang up again on me within 24 to 48 hours you will be in jail" so I took the risk and hung up again. I work for a collection agency and this is scam 101. Please be advised people THIS IS A SCAM

I kept getting calls so I answered. They said I owed money for a loan which I did not apply for but they wouldn't give me any details... On top these people are IDIOTS... They gave me my SSN# but instead of my actual SSN# number they gave me my PHONE NUMBER that they just called me on... MORONS!!!
