dude had a pretty thick Indian accent. wondering how my cell got chosen; when I have been on the do not call list for 1 year

Just got a call a few minutes ago....a lady offering me a free plane trip to anywhere in the USA.

She said she was calling from the Rennaissance Hotel in Las Vegas.

I immediately said I wasn't interested and hung up.

Just for curiosity, I called the number back within minutes...512-474-4955...message said it
was "disconnected."

Like the caller above....I'm on the "do not call list"...really makes me angry.

Make sure you file a complaint.  Go to the "do not call list" website and on the left side, there is a link to file a complaint.

Missed call from this number. No voicemail left on cell phone. Number 'disconnected' when I tried to call back less than ten minutes later.

I got a call, too. A woman with a foreign accent said she was calling from King's something-or-other and then said she wasn't trying to sell me anything. I said, "How did you get this number?" and she hung up on me. I too am on the Do Not Call list.

My phone message machine had a call from (512) 474-4955.  No one spoke but it sounded like a bunch of people talking with the phone off the hook.  It lasted for over a minute then disconnected.

Same thing just happened to me, she has called several times.  Then she hangs up.  I called the number back and got a weird male voicemail.

Yeah this number just called me saying the same kinda thing. I asked how they got my number and they hung up on me. Later called back from 866-877-0566 and I said that I would appreciate if they didn't call again.

Was it Kings Creek Plantation in Williamsburg VA? I received this same call from two numbers...this number and 866-877-0566.

Got a call from this # - no message left, but when I tried to call it back it was listed as disconnected.  I have registered on the do not call list, so I believe it's illegal for them to call me.

Just got the call.  Sounds like an auto dialer then the live voice comes on and speaks to people in the background and to children in a foreign language.

Got a call from 512-474-4955 today, they didn't leave message, I called twice on my prepaid cellphone and both times the message said the number had been disconnected.

I'm also on the Do Not Call list.

They called, said nothing I finally disconnected after saying hello 4 times. Called the number back and got the "This number is disconnected recording. It ran through it 2 times then disconnected. I honestly was waiting for an answering machine beep. But nothing.

Just got called from this number, someone with a strong accent said the name of the company was "Glove Travel" and they wanted to tell me about some upcoming trip I had "won".  I tried to collect as much information as I could, but didn't get very far because he asked a supervisor for the address and they were on to what I was doing and just hung up.

Also got a call from this number and they said it was iGlobe Travel (or something like that) and they were located in Round Rock TX.  It was very hard to hear them and the connection sounded like it was overseas.  They claimed we won a trip.  I told them to take us off their list.  They called again only 2 minutes later.  And again 10 minutes after that.  Waiting for the 4th call.

This is the 3rd time now this number has called me and the 3rd time I have told them to stop calling me. They are trying to offer a free vacation. 1st time they called I asked to be taken off call list and never call again. The next day they called again and I repeated my request and filed a compliant via the FTC website. Tonight they have called me yet again and it is always after 9pm. When I try explaining never to call me again, they just ignore me and continue with sales pitch. I tried calling the # back and it says it is disconnected. I did a *69 trace and it says it is unable to complete a trace. This is harrassment and they are obviously taking measure to cover their tracks. These people need to be dealt with. I have filed yet another FTC complaint.

Yeah, someone called from this number & at first it was an indian lady that was explaining an all expenses paid trip to anywhere in th US & said theres no koney involved, no strings attached & i told her okay & was just going along with it. Then she says okay that her supervisor will explain it more & he told me that his name was paul & was fom direct buy in some town & that theyre trying to promote their new location by handing out free all expenses paid vaction for 7 days & nights. So he went on with explaining it & had ask me if i was interested in the couples vacation & i said sure. He had then asked if i had a husband or loved one to go along with & i told him no. Then he had asked the craziest questions! Like how old was i & that i had a nice voice. & then he flipping asked for my facebook!! Now what company does that! If this number calls, just dont pick up!! Total scam!

Indian woman claiming to be with "Direct Buy" in San Antonio

They said they would give us free airline ticket and a dinner voucher to come and hear a presentation. zI pressed for details about ticket. the said they would send an email. Never got one. Sounds like timeshare place.
