- anonymousHas literally been calling me for one year now, a few times a day (any hour), it stopped for a few months, but started back up and just doesn't quit. Whenever I answer, an automated service tells me to call their 800 number, and when I call back, I get another automated service. They say it's about some court matter, but I've never received any mail, and have never broken a law, or gotten any tickets, if they are trying to subpoena me or something, aren't they supposed to have someone physically show up at my door?
I got a new phone, called a motorola cliq, and it has this option to send numbers in your address book straight to voicemail, so I finally did that. They still call, but my phone doesn't even ring, just goes straight to voicemail like it's supposed to. - Jethro replies to Sues| 6 repliesThis number 512 490 1028 called when I was busy cutting wood on a saw. I answered thinking it was a customer and when I realized it was not I hung up. The same voice called back the next day and said " So you like to hang up on us?" And hung up! How funny is that!? I think this cannot be a legit biz
- kmn281they called saying i have an urgent court matter. a different number has called about the same thing before. i told them to mail me some paperwork and they never did.......

- margI got a new telephone number 2 days ago. The very day after I got the number, I started getting this number calling me without putting their name on the caller ID. This is a new number. I would appreciate it if you can be civil, honest and stop calling me. Obviously, you are a scammer trying to act like a high class collection agency, when in fact, you buy write-offs from companies not knowing what the situation is at all.
Can't you find a better way to make a living. I know jobs are hard to find, but at least find one that helps people not harrass and bother them without knowing what is really going on. Even a car salesman is better than being a scammer. At least the consummer is getting an item he or she can use, even if the car may not be the best. - Janey| 1 replyMunicipal Services Bureau, a "private corporation specializing in court collections" based out of Austin, Texas. They are a legitimate collection agency. They mailed me a collection bill during the week that I received two calls from them. They left voicemails asking for me to call them back, that it was about an urgent, serious matter, and was not a call to sell me something. One of the voicemails was left by a woman with a British or European accent.
I live in Honolulu, Hawai'i. They called me over a speeding ticket I got here in the summer of 2010 (went to court in Oct. 2010, got my $175 fine reduced & opted to do community service instead of paying th efine). They said they'd received the information from the Honolulu courts in December 2010 and I explained to them about how I settled the fine. They asked me to fax and/or mail in my paperwork to them; that way, they could send it back to the Honolulu courts.
If your state is incompetent like mines can be, then give them a call back because it could be that they have outdated information about your speeding ticket or whatever it is they're calling about.- Caller: Municipal Services Bureau

- LMFAO!Yup, collection agency. I got a curfew ticket over 13 years ago when I was 17 years old, A MINOR. I informed the caller that I cannot legally be responsible for any debt or fines that I received as a minor (got to love informing some debt collector with a GED on basic law). He said my parents would be responsible then, I agreed but told him both my parents are deceased and to have go luck billing them.

- Colleen replies to tellmewhyThey are scam artists. There has been a rash of these calls telling you that you owe money for all types of various "legal" fees for debts, traffic tickets, loans, etc. I told them they were a bunch of sad little boys who wish they were men but couldn't get a real job like a real man. Told them that the FBI was on to them and they hung up. They called back and sounded like they were going to cry! They said, "Why did you do this to us?" Does that sound legit? I told them that the FBI knew where they were and had plans to take them to prison for 15 years for telephonic theft and that they were going to be raped by men since they obviously weren't real men. They haven't called me back. I have no debts, no tickets no NADA. Be strong - freak them out.

- DaveThey are scammers someone needs to get the media and law on them.I called my local courts they said thy never as with any county or state court I repeat never refer to collections for fines or costs. They notify by mail then if you do not pay you get served with a notice to appear or a warrant.Sadly threre are gullible people who will fall for this and be robbed blind.
The agency needs to be shut down and sued for any collections they got and owner should get A LIFE SENTENCE- Call type: Debt collector
