I got a call from this number. Some one with Asian Indian accent spoke and asked my name and then said that there was a FBI criminal investigation against me. I hanged up the phone.

He left a voice message, suggesting that there was a FBI criminal investigation.. We have received few calls like this, so we know it is a scam...

Same here on 6-16-2014. Transparent scam - we should all notify our own communities of these potential scams.

This number has been calling me for a long time. They are a fraudulent company supposedly operating out of Austin Texas and calling themselves the crime investigation department. They are fishing for information (address, social, credit cards, etc...). The rep that called this morning was very rude to me, I will not repeat what he said to me as it is very disgusting. I filed a report with the FTC as well as the attorney general of California (because I live in California). I encourage everyone who gets calls from this number to report them. I keep calling them back and harassing them making my morning mildly entertaining

Got a call at my house and left a message saying he is Officer Steve (Johnson?). He sounds like an middle eastern descent dude trying to do a Texan accent...really funny. Anyways, he says he's from Arizona police dept and I am under investigation for something and I need to call back at 512-541-2184. Kept calling but goes into voicemail saying Officer Steve something and asks to leave a phone number. Like hell i'm going to leave my cell#.....beware, definitely a fraud.

Got this call on 6/27 and 6/30. Called back guy can barely speak English I wfinally hung up and blocked this number! Very upsetting that people are doing this just fishing for info. Please people report them and block the number!

someone with an Asian accent  called and claimed that he is an investigation officer with an Id # MA125. He said that he is investigating a criminal activity.  Of course it is a scam!

My 89 year old father got this call today - in the State of Maine. The guy said he was FBI investigating crimes reported AGAINST my father and needed to talk to my father. I told him my father has Alzheimer's but he STILL wanted to talk. I hung up and will report to local police.

Somebody called & said they were a private investigating co.

A male teen voice, told me that I had some Criminal Charges and what not. I told them if it was joke or what and he mentioned to me if I don't believe it then I can hang-up the phone. I said I do want to continue talking as I have already reported the Police of such calls and they must be tracking this call. Hearing this the person got furious and started cussing at me. HOw lame... More than likely to be someone from outside US (Indian Sub-continent) calling in using IP Phone Service (Like vonage, Magic Jack or Skype). Wonder how can they be tracked, caught and put behind the bars.
