The supposed Austin phone number (512-549-8842) belongs to a company called CSII (also known as Credit System International Inc) which is a debt collection company. They've called me 6 times over 3 days, often twice a day. I never answered since I didn't recognize the phone number. They never left any voicemail message. I finally got tired of them calling so I called them back today. When I asked them who they were they said "CSII" and told me the name of the person they were looking for (not me). I told them to take me off of their calling list, but I don't trust them to do so, so I'm going to block their number. PS their hold music was some station advertising for businesses in the North Texas area (Dallas/Fort Worth), which is why I say "supposed Austin phone number". These days anyone can get a phone number from any location in the country without the need to actually live in that location. Regardless of that this phone number is for the Austin area, CSII's information is as follows: Toll Free: 800-316-8064, Local: 817-496-6500, Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Mailing Address: PO BOX 1088, Arlington, TX 76004. I clearly don't approve of companies that don't leave voicemail, and repeatedly call without identifying themselves.
