A lady named Pamela Lockhart called and said she was with the financial crime division working with Morgan Richer and there are felony charges pending against my social security number and referred to me by a name I have not used in over 5 yard.  They did not call me they called my family and asked if they knew me to have me call.  A legitimate collection agency would say something like " please ask whoever to call its back about an important financial issue".  They would not disclose information about the case to just anyone and leave it on voicemail.

    Pamala Lockhart is a fraud
Pamala Lockhart 1-512-599-8839 is a fraud! She has called my phone after I have asked to be taken off the mailing list numerous times.  She began to call my family, I've had to change my social media accounts.  How someone sleeps at night is beyond my comprehension.  Pamala Lockhart 1-512-599-8839, you are a awful human being and I hope what comes around goes around.   Should you seek other employment, keep in mind that you ruin lives for a living and embarrassment and headach  is your quality.  I pray that karma  finds something good in you and I hope you find peace with yourself and ask for forgiveness for all the wrong you have done.  I hope you have enough character to make right ALL that you have done wrong.  I probably won't press charges for harassment or identity theft but I really hope you find a new line of work. 1-512-599-8839 is the number I will always answer because I refuse to let you scare the [***] of of me or my family any more.

I just received a call from Pamela Lockhart too, asking for my boyfriend. She said she was with Financial Crimes and gave the number 512 599 8839. She made it sound bad. I took the message and she gave me a case number (made up of course)  I know that my boyfriend is not in anyway involved in this sort of thing because of what he does for a living.  I knew this was fraud after I hung up the phone and invested and found this site and the rest of the post here. Looks like she is just recently started this from the dates on the post.

Since the first call I had another call and I told her I know this is a scam & I will be calling the FBI and that I was with law enforcement industry and she laughed and said really lady are you kidding me and hung up. I haven't had a call back since. I also posted on my FB page to alert others of her and wanted to let his family know incase she calls anyone in his family or his Ex.

I called the FBI they gave me the number to the FCC.gov and I spoke to them and gave them all this woman's information.

Doesn't she have anything better to do then scam people what a horrible life she must lead to try to swindle others. She is in Texas and I will be doing my own investigating on her as well. The caller ID on my call was AMS Twelve.

I love this sort of thing I have caught craigslist frauds on rental units and fake jobs. Having common sense is important when things like this happen but there are people out there that will get sucked in. I have a FRAUD alert in my body I guess I can smell a scam miles away. :) I just pray that she gets busted and all those involved with her SCAM Career.

Pamela Lockhart is not a scam. I thought that at first until I had an investigator show up at my home address.  Ms Lockhart works with Financial Crimes Division she is not a police officer.   I had a great experience with her. There was a loan that I owed from several years ago that she helped me get resolved. Im so thankful that she was there to help instead of reporting this to my local authorities.  I saw all the negative comments today and wanted to take the time out to leave one that was positive. thx. everything checked out so far so good.

    >>  Ms Lockhart works with Financial Crimes Division   <<

How about giving us the name of the parent company for that "division"?
    Legal name, address and website.
It appears this is nothing more than a debt collector ploy, but since you "checked it out", you should be able to give us that info, along with confirming you did or did not receive a snailmailed Debt Validation notice, within 5 days of the phone call.

Can you do that, or are you merely shilling for the phone number?

If you read through the other comments, Pamela Lockhart (whoever she may be) has CLEARLY broken the law.

-Debt is civil. Not criminal. There are no 'investigators.'
-Companies cannot issue arrest warrants. Only those in the judicial system can issue warrants. They need to be petitioned by actual attorneys, and signed by an actual judge.
-You cannot be arrested for ordinary debt in the United States and Canada. There are no debtors prisons here.
-If there were ACTUALLY an arrest warrant with your name on it, your local courthouse would have it. Look up the number independently, and call them. I'm willing to bet there is no arrest warrant for you
-IF THERE WERE, however, no one will EVER call you to tell you they are coming to arrest you, or serve you papers. Process servers only get paid if they deliver your paperwork, and if you hide, they won't get paid, so, they won't tell you they're coming.
-Threats of arrest and putting holds on SSN's, demanding attorney contact information and other things like that are common scare tactics used by "debt collectors" who are trying to collect on a  debt they cannot legally collect on. If they COULD legally collect on the debt, they wouldn't have to resort to scare tactics.
-REAL debt collectors will send you (because they are required to, by law) a 'DEBT VALIDATION'. This is sent through the mail (USPS) with a stamp on it (e-mail, fax, texts, carrier pigeon, smoke signals...none of those count) and tell you when you incurred the debt, to whom you owe the original debt, and how to proceed if you don't think you owe the amount, or if your records reflect a different amount. Remember, this is REQUIRED BY LAW to be sent to you within 5 days from initial contact (on the company behalf)

    http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
This link takes you to the FTC's website and gives you all the rules debt collectors must follow. It also (at the bottom) provides links to where you can report any debt collector who isn't following the law.

She said she was from the "Texas Department of Investigations". Living in Texas I know there is no such thing. So I called the Texas Rangers who said it is a scam and to please let the FBI know. Which I did. Now when I'm bored I call back and ask where the warrant is for my arrest. Lol.

I've talked to this "Pamela" persona.  She outright tells you she works for the state or DA or Child Protective Services.  She regularly impersonates law enforcement agencies.  Somestimes she acts like a policeman or she says she works with the local DA.  All clap-trap.   She is a serious scammer.  And yes, she laffs at you if you call her down on her scams.  The woman is seriously in need of some Karma.

Anyone who has been contacted by this Pamela persona and threatened,

    Report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection  (Threatening criminal prosecution to collect a civil debt is a clear violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act)

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
