I am getting calls from this number almost every day!

Have only received one call from this number. Yet it was after midnight!

Call 2 calls today. Knew my name, and address. Claim they are with Social Security adminstration. First one hung up when I asked for verifying info. Second said they'd give me a phone number, then didn't. They did give me an employee ID number. Person claimed I would be getting 500 a month (first  call) 300 a month (second call) from the Federal Government, plus prescriptions paid. Second person asked for bank account information. When I told them I don't have a bank account, (I don't) they said that's okay, someone will contact me with a way to receive my funds later. He then hung up.

Both people had a strong indian accent. Second person said his name was Ignatio, employee ID number 190340320.

got 3 blank calls just before mid night. on 3rd i was silent and i could hear indian accent in background.

Got fake call today pretending to order parts.  Caller left disconnected number for call back.

Got a call today (Sunday) at around noon. I was not home so it must have gone to my voicemail. Caller didn't leave any VM. I was not sure who this was so I googled the number and this is how I came to this page. When I try to call the number, it goes busy.

I also got a call from these guyse today...tried to call back but only busy signal.

Got call from this guy at about 4am. He woke me up and I couldn't understand a word of what he said.

I also have a missed call from 512-961-1667 (about 2:40am). Probably related!

First time I get calls in the very early morning.

I saw this number on the caller id.. 646-0041.  It looks too suspicious to answer anyway.

I missed a call from this number today. When I try to call back the number is busy. They accidentally left a voicemail on my answering machine though. I heard a foreign voice and it was only one word spoken(not sure what it was). I get calls all the time from these fake people and scam artists. They need to go back to wherever they came from.

I have gotten a call from 512-646-0041 several times in the past few days and was wondering where it came from or who it was. I live in the 512 area code and decided to finally call the number back after a vm was left with just dead air on my cell phone. I keep getting these calls on my cell phone. When I called the number back I keep getting a busy signal. I have tried to call back several times and everytime there is a busy signal. I may have to change my cell number, what do you all think?

They called my 2-19-08 - didn't leave message.

Got a call from this number, but no voice message was left. Tried to look up the number and got to this page. From what I read here, this is probably a scam.

Ok check this out! Got a call today this afternoon from 512-646-0041 and left it go to voicemail.  They didn't leave a message. Then they called back a second time a minute later so I answered.  As soon as I answered a disguised pre-recorded voice played knowing some info on my personal life and a threat.  I'm very serious.  My friends play jokes on me but this to not a joke I'm sure of it.  I'm going to find out who this person is.

I have been getting blank calls from this nuber a couple times a day. It freaks me out!

I GOT A CALL FROM THESE GUYS AROUND 9 AM THEN AT 11 AM SO I ANSWERD AND A GUY WITH A STRONG INDIAN ACENT CAME ON AND ASKED ME ALL THESE QUESTIONS AND NEW MY NAME AND ADDRESS...... HE SAID THAT I WOULD BE GETTING FREE MEDICAL BENIFITS AND 500 DOLLARS A MONTH FOR 2 MONTHS,,, THEN HE TRANFERED ME TO A LADY WHO WAS ASKING FOR MY ACCOUNT NUMBER AND ROUTING NUMBER..... IT KINDA FREAKED ME OUT SO I HUNG UP... IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THESE PEOPLE PLEASE DONT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM ITS A SCAM AND THEY WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.... I LOOKED IT UP ONLINE AND ITS FROM AUSTIN TX AND ITS A LAND LINE/ TEX- LINK COMMUNICATIONS NOT SURE WHAT THAT MEANS...

I got a call yesterday from them.  He said he was with the federal government, calling from washington, dc.  knew my name and address. told me I would receive 5000 dollars, it would be transferred from Bank of America, and then wanted my bank name and account number.  I told him to eat s--t and die, then hung up.  I'm thinking about calling the FBI.

Got a call from the number 512-646-0041 on cell, let it go to VM.
Checked later there was no msg. Tried to call back, 3 times, line busy.
I am in the 512 area code too, so thought that some one was calling.
tried a reverse search for the number and came up with nothing.
