Received 11 back to back telephone calls on my cell phone and then one phone call at work. They did not idenify the company they work for, the lady only gave her name; Mary Walker, and a claim number, and a threat to verify my address, and work address, with a warning that I have been notified. Notified of what?

Number calling but wont give information or number to call back..

I just filed a complaint with the Texas State Attorney General regarding this number, a Mr. Frank Thomas, and Nationwide.  Another number associated with this is 855-673-7168.  Do not give them ANY information.  Seems to be a phishing scam.

I got calls at my job and they state that they are coming to serve me paperwork, if I did not comply and pay now. I would rather be served than pay someone I do not know over the phone. Mary Walker was my case worker and Lauren Kelley is the locator...

Debt collector, wanted to verify my address to serve papers. Told him to go pound sand.

I am being harrased by a lady named Kelly Dickson from this number . I notified the police , the federal trade commision , and the attorney general if they are trying to collect they have 5 days from initial call to send me a written letter of what they what there company name and what are the options . She has not done that they also have to have a surety bond to be contacting me and they dont have one, they also cannot be saying they are serving me with anything because only a officer can do that so they have already broke 3 laws. Go to the attorney general website and look under consumer protection it shows us our rights .

Just received a call from this number 512-686-1922 from a brook stating i had charges upon me this is my last chance to settle this blah blah. Received a fax and a number aswell its nationwide, scammers

Same story as all the others. I am receiving daily phone calls from them, usually about six at the same time with only a first name of the caller asking for my address to serve me with collection papers or else "they will serve me at my place of work". Connected to Nationwide claims department. I contacted Nationwide to inquire about this "claim" and they told me I can make bi-weekly payments out of my checking account. I asked them to send me official paperwork with their address, contact information and documentation regarding this debt. I even called the company I owed the money too and they don't know anything about this. So I am supposed to give you my checking account number when you can't even send me verification of your identity? No thanks.

I just got a call and she said she wanted my work address and I said no, and she said she could find out.  I also called Nationwide and Aaron Brown also said for me to give him my checking account number. What the hell is this?????

Calling my job , my manager stating I have charges filed against means he has papers to serve me with. Really?  Jeopardizibg my job. How do I make it stop?!

These people keep calling regarding my son.  They call him too.  Looks like they'll try calling anybody to get what they want.  Same types of calls as listed above.  I've never returned their calls since I found out it was a scam.  They've never mention that it's regarding debt collection....just that there's some claim filed, it's urgent, my son could be arrested at work....but no specific information.  Is the Texas State Attorney General doing anything?

Same deal here, only Len O'Brien!  Say they are coming to my job, which just happens to be a LAW OFFICE so I told her to please come by; I am here until 5:00!  Look forward to meeting Ms. O'Brien!

Number calling me. Other numbers are calling my job saying that I'm gonna be arrested. Wants to know if I work there and my job will not give any information. Said they need to call the job verification line and they refuse. This is a [***] problem that needs to be addressed and stopped.

Just received a call from an Amy Schaeffer requesting my home address to address charges against me. Had a number to call and a claim number. 855-303-3873  When I asked what charges she acted surprised that I hadn't been notified. When I asked for her company she said she was an independent locator and had no actual information on the charges. I told her charges infer criminal activity and that in Texas it was illegal to threaten criminal prosecution to collect a debt if she was a debt collector. I don't have any outstanding debts in collection anyway so I am guessing this is a scam. After I refused to give her any personal information she said she would be coming to my home to present me with a court summons. I told her to do what she had to do.

This company keeps calling over and over to my work number.  They keep threating to file charges against me.  They said they would serve me papers at my work and gave me a claim number.  They guy left his name but not his contact number.  The name is Phill Davis

Got 5 calls back to back from 512-686-1922. Jane Parker said they were going to "serve a claim" from Nationwide and we needed to verify our address by the end of the day. I tried to call the number she told me to call back (866-212-3674). I finally got through to David at Nationwide.  It's for an old Check and Go loan.  They are saying they are the pre-litigation dept. and are going to file a claim for suspected misconduct. Then gave me 3 repayment options that I need to decide between to put in a release order so we aren't presented with the official documents addressing the claim.
