Call from an Indian lady who said she represented "Direct Buy" and I had won something because of a coupon I had filled out in a store. When I said I could not recall doing this, she answered that it was probably around Christmas, so it is so long ago I cannot remember it. I went along with the call out of curiosity, and was put through to her manager. He was rather unprofessional, and when he heard (I assume from my accent) that I am not from around here, he said he would have to check with his bosses and get back to me. Sounds scammy, though a website exists for them.

I got a simlar call today.. same thing a man with an indian accent named "David Carson" said he was with Direct Buy and that i won either an 80" LED smart tv, a samsung Front load washer and dryer, a 200 visa, vactaion package from Hilton Hotels for 3 days or a dream room makeover worth 25K. all i had to do was schedule a time to come and scratch my ticket to claim the prize at the follogin address 92160D research Blvd austin, Texas 78758. He said that around christmas i filled out a coupon at target or walmart... I didn't do this.. I never provide my cell phone I only ever provide our home phone on those things and I never ever do those types of things at a walmart target or best buy....

Received a call from the same number but not from Direct Buy. This one was from a male who claimed that he could lower my credit card interest rate. He asked for my credit card number and when I refused he got nasty and demanded that I tell him my name, which I refused to give him and hung up on him. He then proceeded to call me from a different phone number to ask why I hung up on him and again demand to know my name. Total scam.
