Yeah, I am on the west coast and they start calling at 5am, they never leave a message, and they always hang up! I thought you were not supposed to start calling before 8am and stop after 8 pm?
I do owe Dell and they will call you repeatedly to remind you. I have received 5 calls starting at exactly 8:30 am until 1:15 pm, from this number and 2 more from a different number they use. Thats 7 calls in less than 5 hours. I've tried talking to them but all they say is they want me to make an over the phone check payment now and they refuse to make arrangements with me. They're just going to have to wait until I have money I guess.
Hell f***ing yeah! They call me 10 times a day almost every two hours i recieve a missed call from them i was behind on two payments.So about two days ago i paid one late payment and the other today, but they still call me!!
Dells gotta get there accounting in freaking order, 5 months of auto pay by credit cards, and they still call for late payment....god this is annoying. Take the computer back and ill buy an apple
Late on payments, arranged for them to debit my checking account on a certain date, they sent me an email saying they could not get the money from the bank so I called and they claimed they had the payment? Now, they are calling me and harassing me when they can't keep their own records straight, lol, last time I buy from them, interest is bordering on predatory anyway, 29%? 20 years ago you would be hauled in for loan sharking if you charged a person that much interest, and they wonder why people can't pay their bill? /shakes head. How do stupid people get to be in charge of companies?

These guys call 10 times a day. I don't answer, and they never leave a message. My take on the whole thing is that if they're calling that frequently the account has already been turned over to the credit reporting agencies, and the damage to your credit has already been done. You can't just play nice, pay off your account and have the poison removed from your credit report. It doesn't work that way. So, screw 'em! At some point they'll want to negotiate the accouont to get off of their books. If you don't let them scare you, at some point in the future you can settle for a much lesser amount, if you want to. My opinion is that if they've already put a blemish on my credit history, which doesn't go away, for making a legitimate mistake caused by not receiving my mail on a timely basis, then why should I pay them at all? Not the way I learned to do business.
IM SO TIRED OF THESE CALLS - ALL DAY LONG AND ALL NIGHT LONG...TIL 9PM. YOU'RE RIGHT IF THEY ARE CALLING THE DAMAGE IS DONE WHATS THE DIFFERENCE...I MADE PYTS AFTER PYTS AND I STILL OWE THE SAME EXACT AMOUNT 3 YRS LATER....THATS ENOUGH.........
I have received numerous calls from Dell usually durning the day when I am at work. Saturday Sept 26th an 8a.m. I got the call so I answered and there was a recording saying changes had been made to my account please hold for a representative, so I did. When the person came on the line she said she was with dell's credit department and was asking for Clara Sutton I advised her she had the wrong number so she wants me the verify the number she just called so she can have it romoved, I told her they called me so they should have my number, then she said okay the calls would continue until they can verify my number. I advised her I would be filing a complaint with the consumer services here in Florida. There were no more calls all day Saturday, but today Monday Sept. 28th I have received 2 already, so now I am filing a complaint. This really is harrassing because I don't have an account with them and they have been advised.
