- Watchman| 3 repliesThey claim to be offering affordable health insurance, but they are a scammer trying to get you to say, “Yes”. They will ask you yes and no questions. They also are trying to see how many people are in your household. I play games with them and tell them a different number each time and as soon as I give them a number they hang up. So, they probably record the number and the yes and claim you ordered X amount of whatever they are selling.
So, you may be asking, why do I wasted my time talking to them? One – to help fellow people like you and me. I’ve been bombarded by these kinds of idiots for years because I have a business listing. Two – They WILL NEVER stop calling until they are caught and prosecuted, so I learned a long time ago the best way to stop them is to waste their time. So, I act like I’m sick and play flatuation sound effects in the background and have a little fun with them. Most of them hang up. I couldn’t believe the one that called today. After about 4 minutes of one fart after another, she stayed on the phone. I ended up having to tell her I was sick and had to get off the phone. DO NOT SAY YES TO ANY QUESTION! Just hang up when you see this number, or you can have a little fun with them like I do.- Caller: Scammer
- BigA replies to Watchman| 2 repliesThere is absolutely nothing they can do with that one word, and two, since you seem to enjoy yourself talking to them, the better way to stop them would be to find out who and where they are and then file a TCPA lawsuit against them.
- Watchman replies to BigA| 1 replyPlease tell me where to file that lawsuit and against who.
Not enjoy, just a way to get some revenge and waste their time like they waste mine. I'm sure you're familiar with the Google scam calls. Everyday for almost 10 years, sometimes multiple calls per day. I did the fart routine on them a couple of times and we haven't had a call in over two weeks. So, if my enjoyment saves my receptionist a couple of weeks of their time wasting calls, I guess it was worth it. Also, while you're at it, can you tell me where to file that lawsuit and against who for the fake Google listing scamp?
You might want to research the answering calls with a "yes" a little bit. I may be wrong about this particular company of sleezes, but there are some that edit a conversation, inserting your answers and place orders that you didn't place. - BigA replies to WatchmanLawsuits are filed in the courthouse. Every county has one, and there are Federal Courts as well. Since you are the one talking to them, you should know who they are. Which is what I said in my previous post. There are also numerous reports both in the number threads and in forum posts about the Google Scammers as well and the company names behind them.
