Was an automated message about our credit card account and that they have tried several times to reach us... yeah, right.  Hung up without listening to the whole thing....

I have been getting a lot of these calls since posting my resume on Monster.com.  Anyone else noticed increased calls after posting resumes to online job sites?

just got a call from this phone number about "several attempts to reach you about lowering your credit card rate, please call us as soon as possible" Yeah right I will get right on that, NOT

I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it -
I see from the other comments on this site that it was probably a credit card company trying to "reduce my interest rate" ... I don't own any credit cards so why are they calling me??

My turn to get this call today.  Caller ID said "LAMPASAS TX".  Don't know anyone there; picked up/hung up w/o answering.

Now we get  "solar panels" calls AND "Credit Card Interest Rates" calls on the same day!

Solar Scam call today was from 508-227-4856.  Sure both are from the SAME CRIMINAL SOURCE.

I actually tried to press 1 to see what would happen.  (Pressing 1 supposedly starts the CC interest lowering process)  But they hung up too quickly.  They are not even smart enough to complete the scam when they have a chance, and there has to be a cost to set up and run the scam. POS idiots!

They said I have three outstanding accounts of over three thousand dollars I have failed to take care of and when I told them I don't even have a card I want info to give the police they hung up on me!

Reduce your credit card interest rates.  Nothing but a scam.

Caller id says Lamposas, TX .on DNC listed h/p . didnt answer as do not know where this place is . Caller did not leave VM

I got the same call from the same number. Was on another call, did not pick up. They left no message.   They called my cell number, which I thought was illegal ( I get hounded on my landline, having my so phone breached is the last thing I want). From the other notes, it seems to be some scam or other.

Just got another call from Credit Card Services wanting to lower my interest. Sd if you want to get off list enter #2..Entered 2 it simply went back to script. What can be done about these scams?

I get a call from this number about once a week. When you do the stuff to get off the list it does nothing.

I don't post resumes, ever, and I still get that call.

WoW !  another last chance to lower the interest rate on my credit cards that I don't even have !  They have been offering me this  " last chance " for over a year now.  I don't even answer my phone anymore, everything goes to voice mail. I get at least 25 spam / scam calls a week !

Same bs as everyone else. Don't answer. If you try to call them back - to explain to HOW MUCH you appreciate their wanting to help you, of course - the recording says the number is not in service.
