We live in Austin (512 area code ). This keeps calling us.  Added it to block list on the home phone.

I wonder if it's the same scammers calling me every day using a different caller ID.  This is getting boring. Did not leave message. Adding to block list….

This is a call from the "Texas Fraternal Order of Police" - soliciating $$ - Please note: It is a BIG scam that went on in San Antonio ("boiler room" operation) for years. Your Police Dept. DOES NOT solicit $$ over the phone so please BEWARE!

No name shown on caller...just out of area coming from 512 A/C.  I can't believe this police scam is starting again!

Police Fraternal Order something-or-other Scam. They print a bunch of stickers, and give you one for donations. It doesn't mean a thing and doesn't help anyone but the boiler room owners. They call pretty much every day.

Yes, they are using different phone numbers.....and they keep calling because they think you will pick up if they call from a different number.....

1st call, didn't answer, no VM.  Logging for posterity and future blocking.

I got a call from this number this morning -- no message left.  Showed up on my caller ID as a very long number:
  V313144220004985

The actual phone number showed up after the above sequence of numbers.

Received call from this number but they hung up brfore answering machine picked up.  Minutes later, received a call from another 512 number.  Same thing.  Hung up before answering machine picked up.
