i am getting alot of calls from this number.  It turns out that it is a collection agency trying to track down the person (deadbeat) that had the number previously.  The operator kindly removed our number from their database.

Yes they call but never leave a message

It would be nice if they told you the person they were looking for in the message!! Or even told you who they are - I don't like having to research why a company is calling my cell numerous times per day, eating up my precious minutes!!!

This person calls, leaves no message, does not leave a name when I answer.

Who is this? They keep calling and not leaving a message.

BCR, a collection agency.  They have used more than a dozen phone numbers, all of which show up as "out of area" but local numbers, to try and collect a debt from someone I've never heard of.  I've had my phone number for 11 years, so either it is a very old debt or someone used my phone number for something.  They call my number 3 to 8 times a day, including weekends, and have been calling for more than a year.  They won't give me any information on what they are calling about, except for the name of the person they are looking for (which is a very common name), and that if I send them $190 they will stop.  I've sent registered letters to get them to stop, but they say only the person the debt is for can do that.  I don't know that person, and I'm aggravated that I'm going to have to change my phone number to make them stop calling. I believe they are a criminal organization fronting as a collection agency.

This person calls and dosen't leave a message, just keeps calling. Who are they looking for? They need to stop calling if they arn't going to leave a message.
