Fraternal order of police wanting money donations. I put Non-profit but I don't believe it's non-profit.

Just spoke to this gentlemen who insisted on getting a plege Gold 55.00 Silver 45.00 or a minimum of 10.00 for the Faternal Order for Law Enforcement that helps scholarship programs, etc... When I asked for the literature to be mailed first, the gentlemen stated that he cannot sending anything until I committed to making a donation.  When I told him we are going around in circles because I am not donating to an organization that has been identified as a worthy organization by a caller on the phone who refuses to send me literature to authenticate their work, until I agree to pledge to some money.  When I asked him if pledging money or agreeing to it could be done without providing financial information, he said he first wanted my promise to Pay.  I told him I was not interested and I will continue to give locally to the County Sheriff that I work with, in his name.
