Scam message says "This message is to inform you that the IRS is filling lawsuit against you"

Called twice, left voicemail each time that lawsuit will be filed against me from IRS. Scam

Called twice today. Left half messages on a cell phone to call back about case file.

It's the IRS SCAM, folks.  Block the number.  It's just a bunch of thieves.

some computerized IRS fake call - i must be in big trouble since they keep calling.

Same as others mentioned--a partial message that was transferred to my PC stating something about calling immediately about a case file.... I think it was sent to my cell phone although I had no missed calls today.  I didn't open the the "voicemail file", only previewed it.   [***] from hell!

urgent to call IRS at 51 pause 281 pause 37297  regarding irs lawsuit against me. I returned the call and was asked for my address. Sounded like bs so I hung up

This number called this morning with an automated message saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and this was the final attempt to contact me. Called number back and they asked if I had a criminal lawyer to help me with this matter. SCAM!!!

Called, hung up and called again within a minute.  Blocked.

same as above.  Says (in incorrect English, that I owe money to the IRS and to call this number:  51   2813    7297    Does not even know how we divide area code and telephone number.  SCAM

I received the same scamming message about being sued by the IRS.  So that you are aware, the IRS DOES NOT notify by phone, nor do they file a lawsuit until they have notified the person of a discrepancy and attempted to resolve it with the person BEFORE filing a lawsuit.
