Lynn Linsdey calling on behalf of the business interest wanting to speak to our CFO or President.  "Tell him to call me..."  Sure lady!

Called looking for an employee who left our firm six years ago. When we told her he was no longer here, she simply said thank you in a disbelieving tone and hung up.

rec'd call asking for a person who is not associated with the company - then asked for me by name asking if I was the "new" owner.  At 12 bucks an hour, I doubt that!

Called looking for the owner, knew of other business interest. Used owners nickname.........

received a call from generational equity.  Said that had some information that I am interested in.

I never answer calls I don't recognize, even at work. He left message saying he's with Generational Equity and that they are a major equity and acquisitions firm, asking for the boss by his official first name (not the name he normally goes by). The boss isn't interested in selling, and if he were, it would be to his employees or another local business owner he actually knows in person, not some distant company that has a reputation as a scammer.

Based upon what others are saying, I'm glad they never spoke when they called me!

Odd calling pattern.  Not to worry - we have had the 512 area cod blocked for at least two years.
Our phones do not ring and our office was not disturbed.

Called asked to speak to business owner, said he wasn't in can I take a message. Said his name was Gene and it was regarding a Business Interest. Told him he wasn't interested and hung up.

Man said he was from generaltional equity and wanted to invite the owner to an event for business owners in the area. He knew the owner's name and said that he had their direct email address. Blocked the number and if I see any emails I'll block them too.
