I received a call from this number today and I chose not to answer. The call rang twice and disconnected, but unfortunately, some sort of error by my cell carrier caused the phone to call the number back while the phone was in "lock" mode. This is how I determined the name of the company and their intent. The recorded message says something to the effect that "you have won a sweepstakes," but I have entered no contest of the kind.

Calls from unknown numbers receive no response from me as a rule, since I routinely receive undesired calls from various numbers with "202, 971, 206, 503, 205, 253, 206, 360, 563, 234, and other area codes. More than likely, the numbers are being spoofed, and are actually VoIP calls from some other country. If the call is genuinely of interest, they will leave a message and I will call them back. I simply add the numbers to a dummy contact that I ignore in the future. If they call more than once, I file complaints with the FTC Do Not Call List, but this is for their information, not because I believe they have any power to make it stop. If I can do my part to inform other people about a scam or potential scam, then I will do so happily, as I am doing now. I have no love for telemarketers of any kind, whether "legitimate" or not.

I tried calling back since it was a local number and I thought I might have missed a customer call.  Then it went to some sort of recorded message.

Someone who lives in Taylor Texas is harassing me. The phone number is 512-824-0240 and the caller ID says Taylor Texas.

They didn't leave a name.

Looks like they're back at it.  I got a call on my cell Christmas Eve from this number. No message left.

This is reward redemption, they call, rings twice, they hang up, no voicemail. When I dialed the number it wouldnt work and then when I dialed it back with the area code it was a automated voice, Reward Redemption called cause I get a "rebate" because I recently visited one of "their" websites.

I will make a call to the Sherriff's office since they are using a more local pre fix to call now..
