I have been getting calls from this number.  They day they are putting 3 counts of felony charges on me. For something i have paid off.

Are they from the Department of Investigations?

I got a call from this number. Didn't answer because I was at work. An Eric Washington left me a message regarding "a legal matter". I called back after I got off work.I talked to an investigator named Christine Kennedy. It turns out I am being charged with 3 felonies. And in order to make those charges go away, I need to pay $1150.04.

I just got off the phone with The Texas State Attorney, who told me she had information regarding debt collections on their website. She said that in order to collect debt in the state of Texas that this company, whom ever they are, needed to be bonded with the State Attorney. I am going to call the number back to see if they are indeed bonded with the State.

If this is a debt collector, they are violating the FDCPA.

They called me not once but more than 25 times in an hour. I told them I filed for bankruptcy summer 2013, but said it's a debt I didn't file. I asked them the name, and they wouldn't give it to me. So I told them they are nothing but scammers and hung up on them - hence them calling me over and over again.

But luckily for me, I was in my car, so each time they called, I put my phone near one of my speakers ... they'd hang up, call again, and repeated.

The woman stopped for about 10 minutes, started again, and I blasted music into the phone again. Did it a third time. Then finally stopped.

Got a call from this number, called it back with no answer.  The voicemail said 512-769-1232 is not available please leave a message. I didn't.  Junk call.
