Scam phone calling from a fraud and investigation department. When asked asked what company they were with they said they weren't a company, then they were asked what government agency they were with and they said they weren't a government agency either. Then I asked what business entity they were and they said they were federal so I asked if they were part of the US government and they said no. They were fishing for personal information. Do not give them anything.

Received call from this number says  they are filing case against my social pending fraud allegations says her name is Laura Copeland even called my sister's cell . How do I file complaint against them??  Does not give any other info

We got one too from the same thing said it was a pending investigation against someone named Joshua??  Figured it was a scam or some kind of bill collector.   Either way we don't care.  Also told us her name was Laura Copeland.

I just paid these people 408.00. I'm calling them to report my payment, and I'm getting a busy signal.

Why did you send them money - loan, grant, what???  Was it Western Union or a prepaid cash card?  It is illegal to pay BEFORE getting any of these things.  That money is GONE.

Call the bank NOW ----maybe you will be lucky!!

• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites.

I contacted the bank, and they told me to come on Monday. They are reporting the number to Fraud and Investigations.
