Get a voice message from 512-863-7717, asking to accept the charges of a collect call.

According to phone, phone number is in Georgetown, TX.

Got a call from this number @ 12:03pm, didn't answer the call, but the vm left was a recording asking to accept the charges of a collect call.

Received a phone call asking to accept a collect call. Voice of the caller was unclear. The call was then transferred to the Correctional Billing Service which asks for your credit card number and other personal information. In order to receive calls from the inmate one would have set up an account and pay $56.95 at minimum. My guess is that the call is from a jail in Austin, TX.

It's said the collect call was from williamson country correctional facilities i believe...

Automated voice saying it was the Williamson Correctional facility and press one to accept collect call. A man came on the line and asked for "Jason"  Then the automated voice came back on and told me that I would have to set up an account to continue call.  I don't know any Jason.  I hung up the phone.

Received a call from 512-863-7717.  Answering machine picked up first, then my husband picked it up.  He heard Hey"  then "collect call...will you accept the charges" and repeated it 3-4 times.  It was not clear.  It would not ring when we tried to call the number back. Created quite a scare.

this is the Williamson County Jail in Georgetown.  If you have someone there, they should state their name when they are told too.  Otherwise it could be an inmate just trying to get you to accept a call and then wanting you to call someone for them.
