I work for the Dept of Public safety in Anchorage Alaska and this number called me at work in Alaska and asked me to call them, I don't live in Texas and I am debt free so this is a scam

The calls i get calls from this number show as Gila Corp on my caller ID.  Have been blocking their NUMBERS but they keep calling; every time i block one number they call from another one.  They are some type of collection agency calling for person who used to have this number so I just ignore the calls; they never leave a message either.

Received call on a Sunday (2/5/2012) from GilaCorp, automated voice of a man, clear English states, "This is not a solicitation or a sales marketing call, please return this call concerning an urgent financial matter". From the other post I see here, my guess is they are also calling concerning "Red Light Camera" fines. The problem is, they don't state what the call is truly in reference to so unless a real "live" voice calls, I'm going to ignore it.

I recently purchased new minutes on an existing cell phone after my minutes and cell phone number had expired.

I get calls daily now about whoever had that cell phone number previously.

They don't leave messages...they just call everyday about 'an urgent court matter'.

There is already a class action suit against Sandtander at www.sandtanderclassaction.com.

Why can't this company be stopped?

I've been receiving a call from 512-906-3892 every day for the last month. As in all the previous messages here, the call is always  about an "urgent court matter". This is an illegal attempt by collectors to get you to pay a debt. That's why they don't  identify themselves. They're using the ole' "bait and trap" which they could get into trouble for. Now to just get them to stop calling. :o(

Gila Corp just called my business phone and left the normal threatening messga. They can't be stopped by any federal or state agency unless you block them. The predictive dialers and live personnel have no morals whatsoever.

They just called 2 times within 20 minutes of each other.
"Urgent court matter" with the 1800-295-0851 call me back number.


no plans on calling them back as I have never had a ticket for anything.
If their was an issue things would have been mailed to me.

I think most of the problem is with the courts themselves. They give this company the wrong info. I refused to give them any info. I am currently awaiting a call back from the local court explaining how a ticket I already paid is in collections.

Same number; same women (with Philippine accent) I got this call a few times... First call was on June 14th.... this being a day after I had purchased a new phone plan, and got a NEW NUMBER as well... First of all, how the hell did they get my number so quickly?? Luckily I didn't bother calling back.

"This is not a sales call nor a solicitation call.... we are calling in reference to an urgent court matter, please call us as soon as possible. We are open today until 10pm Central Standard Time."

Hmm... Very strange. But then again, how did they get my number which I had only possessed for only 24 hours or probably not even that long!!!!!

Also at the end of message; they gave me a completely different # than the on ethey used to call me with. 1-800-295-0851... Odd....

AND to make matters even worse. I live in Oregon, near Portland. What the **** do they want with me?

We don't owe anyone anything. How do  you stop these idiots!!

They can suck every penny from my big fat white dick, they aren't gettin' it any other way.

These people keep calling me - 3 to 4 times per day.  They leave threatening messages on my machine saying that I have a court date to get in touch with them.  My vehicle has never been in Texas.  I've not been to Texas since 1990 and have never had a traffic ticket.  I've been driving for 54 years and have an excellent driving record.  I have an aunt who lived in Austin, but she has been deceased for about 5 years and I did not attend her funeral.  PLEASE MAKE THESE PEOPLE STOP CALLING ME....THANK YOU!!!!

You will have to do that. 800Notes is not a clearinghouse to stop unwanted calls. All you have to do is send them a letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested demanding they either validate the debt they are harassing you about or stop calling. No validation, no debt. It's that simple.

The automated message they leave when they call is a scam. Pray for those people, because it's one big lie! :( God bless.

This company keeps calling my daughter saying she owes money on a ticket she has already paid. They are threatening her with loss of drivers license. They call 3-5 times a day.

Watch  for ROBOCALLS  calls  from numbers  in Area code 512.

I am intending to sue them for compensation in guideline  with  FTC .. what was it 10,000  dollars for each received call  .. and I receive from them at least 2 calls a day for last 90 days ..

Municipal Services Bureau, a "private corporation specializing in court collections"  based out of Austin, Texas.

They are a legitimate collection agency, but their  robo calls  are not legitimate.


It is Bureau  of Municipal Services  which attempt to collect the money for alleged traffic violations  right or wrong!

In addition I am going to sue the State for selling private, unlisted  and personal confidential information with  out my  authorization and consent permission.

I already received from them about 100 robocalls .. so I am counting the money!

I don't live in Texas nor do I owe ANYONE

They call me have all my info like social name birthdate and ask me for 900$ of unpaid tickets which I have so I don't know to believe or not .

They are calling me three times a day and I set my phone to reject any call from any of there various numbers. By any chance did anyone who received this call download a free texting app from pinger before receiving these calls.

File a complaint to help F.T.C., investigate and prosecute this unscrupulous (scum of the earth) collectors, as harassment by repeated telephone calls is breaking Federal Laws, go to the website:  www.ftc.gov  or
