Have received two calls this morning, fifteen minutes apart.  When I answer there is silence and disconnects. I called the number and an automated answering system picked up.  Said it was KG's (that's what it sounded like) collections department. I have no idea who they are.

It is TG (Student Loan Collection). If you are getting calls from them you need to answer!

No, you don't. THEY need to send a "debt validation" letter 5 days after they first contact you. They've started calling me over the last week, demanding immediate payment of my "student loan" though, they never specify how much it is they think I owe.

While they have my name correct (I think, they butcher pronouncing it), that's ALL they have correct. No address, no supposed time frame I went to school, no name of a school, nothing.

I wasn't educated in America. I have no student loans.

This smells of scam. They probably have a list of names and numbers, and call through, trying to get some poor sucker on the line who will pay them for a debt they don't owe. They usually pull this crap with PDL's, but I suppose guessing that people in America have student loan debt is a safe bet.

Their 5 days with which they have to mail me validation of the debt is over, so tomorrow I plan on filing complaints with both the FTC, the Texas AG, and the BBB.

Left msg for someone who is not me.  Almost sounds like a computer speaking because of the way the words are pronounced....either that or they are English language learners.....

Called twice yesterday and hung up, finally left a message today for someone that is not even me, plus I dont have any student loans. Called and left "Brian" a message telling him to remove my ph# or I will report them

They called me, and butchered my name, and said that my sister (they butchered her last name as well) put me as a reference on something unnamed.  Neither of us has any student debt, our father paid cash for college on the spot.  We have no idea what this is about.  Super bizarre.

Asks for me, doesn't leave company name in voicemail or reason for calling and to 888-641-0260.
I process Medicare part d for a company, so we have to leave the reasons why we are trying to reach the member on their voicemail. Our phone numbers also show the toll free number on their call I'd when we are contacting the member.
There is no toll free number, only the 512 number on my caller ID. This sounds and feels like a scam.

This company took over Sallie Mae/Navient Solutions past due student loan accounts.

Do not know who this is
