512-916-4001

i keep getting calls from this number, but no message left - also from 512-416-0420.  The 4001 number googles to an outfit called "Telefund," which says it's a phone bank for progressive causes.  i'm a progressive, but that doesn't mean i want crap calls from other progressives!

I get these calls at least two times a day on a daily basis. When I pick up the phone, no one anwswers, they just hang up.

I need to have this stopped immediatly!

They call me 3 or 4 times a day very annoying

I would call their HQ and tell them to take you off  their call list.  If  that doesn't work send a brief certified letter to them
warning them that they are harrassing you and that if they continue you will take legal action.

This is a call from the Democratic National Convention, they need money. We need to change the direction of this country.

Unless you answer the phone you will never know who it is and you will never know if it is a company that you have had a prior relationship with. If the phone ringing bothers you so much there are a couple of ways to get it to stop, one is to just answer it, it would take less time to answer the phone than it took to Google the number and write your whining comment on this site.

I got a call from someone stating they were from the PFAW from this number; this is a reputable organization.

I have answered this number twice, when they first started calling me and both times I just heard a bunch of people talking and laughing, NO one really on the other line.  It really pisses me off that they keep calling two to three times a day, all hours of the day.  If they freaken wanted to say something the first time they called then maybe they should have and then stopped calling.  It is sooo rude to keep calling people and incredibly irritating.  Just needed to vent about this! Thanks

Phone solicitation is on that list.  And your message below is ridiculous.  Find a way other than calling my home.

It shows the Human Rights Commission on the site.  I get their e-mails as I did give them support...now they are following up with constant calls.  It may cost my support.

10/10/07 8:40PM got a call from Randy from this # 512-916-4001 and CID showed it as a company called Telefund. I had just sat back down to relax after a previous caller for the mrs of the house was just told to not call. I asked him if he knew the time it was here and that its late non the less and to remove our number from his call list. I know the party that he was calling on behalf, HRC, BUT, they need to know that calling at 8:40pm is late. Also his voice sounded just like the previous caller from a calling company asking for the Mrs, claiming they are calling for the AMERICAN HEART FUND.
I'm tired of being nice and polite to this callers, its time to treat them just the way they feel for us.

I, too, have been getting these calls.  They leave no messages.  I won't pick up any more.

The website identifies Telefund, which has called me a few times lately, as a telemarketing firm in Austin, TX.  So it probably IS calling for American Heart Fund, the Human Rights Commission, the Democratic Party, etc.  These are fine causes, but I don't like getting these calls all the time.
