This ph # calls my work constantly. It's a pre-recorded message. A man by the name of Mr. Scott. It's always the same pre-recorded mesage because i can he hesitates pryor to leaving the message and you it sounds like he was moving when the message was recorded. I'm sick of getting this call. I don't who he is or what company he is calling from. At first i would just get the call once every couple of weeks. Then weekly, then, daily, now more than once a day!!!

I get the same message, "Hi this is Mr. Scott.  Please call me back as soon as possible."  No phone number is given to return the call.

Called today 01-23-2014...around 11a.m. I answered ...a man asked for a "Douglas Marsett"...not sure if that's spelled correctly...I didnt ask who i was speaking to, just told him he had wrong number.I decided to look up number as I only get calls from people I know and that are in same area code. I'm not in austin tx. Not sure why everyone here has received a pre-recorded message and I got a real live person.

Some idiot named Nicole called for a friend of mine. I offered to take the info and give it to her. She started telling me about some legal documents. I told her it was too much personal information. She stated that it was not and continued telling me! I recorded the call and will give it to my friend for legal action.

I received a call from this number at my mom house. They said her 1st name asked for me by 1st name a and when she ask who it was the lady told her Christian.  When she got to the phone they hung up.  
When i called back some one answered asking for me. And said last month they was told it was the wrong number. (Yet they are still calling) she got rude with me and before I could finish said she was hanging up. I can't find out online what the number is for. She said something associates.

I got the call on both my cell and work number today.  No message left, just a missed call. I called back and asked the name of the business.  Was told it was AG & Associates

Unwanted call on cell phone. Do not know who it is & i do not answer it.

Number calls my phone but when I answer there is hesitation and then music starts to play as if I've been placed on hold.

I've been receiving calls from this number for a while now, 4 calls total, but only today did someone speak. Usually there is hesitation and then they hang up on me. Today however a woman asked for Enrique Hernandez but it felt like she was either a) making the name up as she goes or b) just really dumb and couldn't read it. I told her she had the wrong number and she asked if I knew him. "Um no I dont, sorry" "So you dont know how to get a hold of him?" she asked. I told her no again and again told her she had the wrong number. When I called back a girl answers only stating her name is Michelle and when I asked bluntly what company this was she, without warning, put me on hold and transferred me to this Mr. Scott person. Fishy at best is all I can say.

Have the same phone number call me I returned a phone call since no voicemail was left as soon as I return the call it went straight to elevator music once I got a hold of someone they fed me some [***] story I could not tell me any information then I asked what AGA stood for the idiot told me it was a GA three letters and they wanted to be the first in the phonebook.I had a good laugh and told him if he's going to make up a lie he better find a better one to use and block the number is people are fake and [***]

they have been calling me for a while now and asking for my sons grandfather who I am not related to. Not sure why they have my number. When they first started calling they would ask for him and when I told him this is not his number they would hang up on me. That happened about three times in a month period. I received another call to day saying you need to have David call me because this is pending legal matter as of tomorrow the company is called AG and associates. When I told the woman to remove my number because I have nothing to do with him she hung up on me. I called her back three times and before I said anything she hung up each time. The fourth time another woman answered and was a little more polite but I explained that I want my number removed and she said if you provide us with his number we can remove yours. I told her I would not give her his number because I dont know who you are. After looking up the company and seeing all the scam stuff people have wrote about I called his grandfather about it. I called back the company to get some information about them and the Original Rude lady answered and said is this David I said no and she said "We dont want to talk to you we want to talk to him" and hung up on me again. So I called back and got a man. Asked him the name of the company once more to just verify it and he told me then I asked where his company is located and he said we are not in texas if that is what your asking. I said no Where is your company or main office located. He said we dont provide that information to people. So I asked to speak to a manager and he forwarded me to a voicemail which sounded similar to his voice. The things I have read have talked about people using a loan company and even after they have paid the loan off the company will say they havent and say they are pending legal matter and threaten with Warrants and arrests. Some people even stated they paid the company calling and they still continued to harrass with calls and told them they needed to pay.

AGA company is the scammer, supposedly a debt company who is calling from this ph#. Do not answer, block it, and report it for harassment.

I to got a call from AGA Assoc. The guys name was Reggie he wanted this very large amount of money to settle a 1999 cc debt that was my very first cc of 350.00.He said he was going to put a lein on my house or take my truck then he started lowering the amount two times only if i would pay today i tried to explain i was on a fixed income and couldnt do that he said he worked for an attorney but wouldnt give me the attorneys name all in all i figured it was a collection agency after googleing the name and number.

Its someone saying that I owe some other company 1000 for a loan I never even took out. Plus this was over 10 years ago. they would not give me specific names of this supposed company.

I received a call from "Candace" today 9/15/2015. She wanted me to verify the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told her I would not verify that with anyone on the phone. I asked her who she was with and she said Alliance Group and Associates. I asked for her last name and she would not give it to me. I asked for her address and she would not give it to me. I told her if I owed something to send it in writing. She said it was a Tribute Card and they had been sending me notices and I had been ignoring them. I told her I had not received anything and she began to argue with me. I told her I wanted her Manager's name and she said it was Jason and he was her Father and once again would not give me the last name. She told me her Company was on the East Coast but it was against Company Policy to give the address. I told her I wanted the address because I was going to send a Cease and Desist letter and she hung up on me. I called the number back and she answered "Hello", no Company name. I had to tell her twice who I was and I said "You hung on me, I want your address". She once again told me she could not give it to me for safety reasons.

I know my rights, and this is what she did wrong:

Informing any person that an attempt is being made to collect a debt from the debtor. She said she was collecting for the Tribute Card.

Communicate in any way with a debtor who has informed the collector in writing that no more contact with the debtor is to be made. She would not give me the address to this.

Moreover, deceptive trade practices statutes may permit a consumer to bring a cause of action against a creditor for debt collection practices of an independent agency hired by the creditor. I will file a law suit if I ever hear from them again.

If Jason and Candace do not work for this Company then I apologize. If they do work for this Company they need to read up on fair trade practices.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and The Consumer Protection Financial Bureau. I will also be filing with the Attorney General's Office.
They also use 512-920-5244.

This number is for Ag & Associates, its a collection agency not a scam. They're calling because either you or someone that has used you as a referral or reference owes them money. Technically they can keep calling you because of an established business relationship if you owe them money if you don't know who the person is out there asking for it just say that and they can add you to their Do Not Call list. If you don't tell them who you are they can keep calling. Call center 101 hang up on them doesn't do anything but give them permission to call you back.

Debt collectors have a proven history of harassing innocent third parties by calling outdated numbers. I know this is a fact since I have received calls from debt collectors asking for complete strangers . Unfortunately they refused to listen when I told them they had the wrong number.
