Female states she is from the office of Preston, Powers, and Stone, guess she wants to sound like a law firm.  The call is for someone who doesn't even live here and someone I do not know.  Leaves a call back number but never says what the call is about.

I don't think it is a real law firm.  I think it may be the collection agency that was rated "F" by the Better Business Bureau in Greater Houston and South Texas:

If you have a compaint with this business, and it they are the ones behind your calls, you might note that there is a real street address and an apparently real telephone number listed in the BBB report.  You can also contact the BBB and (note that you may have to do this quickly) file complaints with the proper enforcement agencies and with the company itself.  You should talk to a lawyer about that because the steps that may need to be taken often require quick action to preserve your rights.  There are a number of lawyers who take these cases at no cost to you because some of the statutes involved require the a losing bill collector to pay lawyers fees directly to your lawyer.

some guy called and said he was investigating the company. One of the other guys that worked here answered, I was busy at the moment....he gave this number and gave a claim number, said something about Antonio Moore or something. Oh, this guys name was Vince Cruze or something.......as I was told. Now from this site I see that it was probably just BS!!!
