Got 7 calls in 11 minutes

512-955-3173...called my unlisted cell phone twice 3 minutes. I called back and they answered "Energy Conservation Dept"...this is telemarketing. I told them to remove my number from their database because it is on the DNC list.

This caller needs to be stopped. What and who would call up to 7 times within minutes of each one.

Got 10 calls in 15 minutes. No message.

Called 9/20/13 7 times in 10 minutes.

called about 15 times in 20 minutes, never left a message. I finally picked up and yelled at the person to stop calling. The woman seemed upset and when I asked to be put on her do not call list, she said no and hung up.

Had three calls back to back, just one ring. Answered quickly the fourth time and waited for the long telemarketing pause. She asked for me or my husband by last name and I asked her to take us off her call list. She said, "OK." And that was that.

Strange call. Sounded like they said my daughter's name when they left a message.
Only 1 call so far. It is a shame you can't track or stop these people. The DNC list has no teeth. Ridiculous.

same here. about 6 calls today.  about 3 in 10 minutes.  they have been blocked now

Has called 5 times in a 3 hrs period.   I asked who was calling and they quickly hung up.
Soooooo annoying.   Don't these telemarketers know that when you harass people with a ridiculous number of calls per day (especially when you are on the DNC list), that there's no way in hell anyone would do business with them??

just called them back at 512-955-3173 and they answered energy conservation dept.  i told her to put me on the dnc list and to stop calling my number.  She said Thank you and hung up.  We'll see if it works or not.

4 calls within 3 minutes. Scammer. I'm on the DNC list too. They don't care.

Update - 12 calls within 10 minutes. Good lord this is irritating.

I got two calls in a row from 512-955-3173, no message left.  I blocked the number after reading these comments.  The DNC list isn't working.

I just got a call from 512-955-3173 from the "Energy Conservation Department". The tried to make me believe she was from Austin Energy, but said "no" when I asked her directly. I will report to the DNC list.

Incessant calls, very annoying, no message. I refuse to answer.

Got a call, was local since it's 512. Asked for someone that wasn't me and they apologized. Just hung up on them. Decided to call back just to see what it was, mentioned something about Conservation Energy Dept. Just hung up. Just wanted to see what it was.
