    THIS IS A SCAM
Here is the email with the phone number 512-961-8372. It's just a better cover story, but they want you to open a bank account and cash checks from their customers. You keep 5% of the check and forward the rest to them. Obviously the checks are no good and you get screwed for the 5% you mailed off to them. What they really look for are really gullible people with great credit ratings! Then they can send you a really big check, say 100,000.00, you get to "keep 5% (5,000.00) and send them $95,000!!! Then you lose your entire life savings and have your credit rating destroyed.
Just think about it: Why would any legitimate company need you to cash their customer checks?????
Why would they even trust you with these checks that you have the power to cash????
It sounds too good to be true and guess what...it is. So watch out for job offers that involve you cashing or processing  checks for anyone else...for any reason!

Yup, I got the same email and I just started using Career Builder a week or so ago.
I almost dialed the number but as I looked at the number again I remembered the numbers that charged you many minutes to call them and I decided to look the number up and thank goodness I did.
    Thanks for the heads up.

I got this call yesterday-- he really tried to pressure me into doing his "online interview" I blew him off and set up a different time until I could research him-- amazing enough his website is down-- www.AccentInColor.com-- for people that are out here hurting in this time of unemploymenet it is so much fun to deal with people like this.  I put my guard up when someone named James Gordon calls me with an accent I couldn't place-- I hope that this guy is caught and strung up by his buster browns.  I also email careerbuilder with all the information I had on him and reported to FBI-- I am sick of people preying on us hard working folks that really need employment.

I got the same email from Tina Shaffer and like others it was from Career Builder.  Maybe Career Builder needs to check out their advertisers a little better.  Please don't get desperate and fall for scams like this.

Beware... This is definitely a phishing scheme! The email that you received offering you a "simple job with stable income" is using a fake facade. The Web site they gave is http://www.aatrgroup.com. However, the real AAT Restoration Group, Inc. is located at http://www.aatrestorationgroupinc.com, which is a legitimate business that probably doesn't even know someone is using its name.

You can see that the real business has an A+ rating with the BBB:
    http://www.bbb.org/central-florida/business-r ... ange-fl-4003173

Someone is finding solid businesses and exploiting their good names. Don't fall for it!

Best part is when you start doing research on the domain. Russian Federated Territories, Moscow. Hosted in China. All the fraud companies related to this (including the fake AAT) are hosted on the same server.

These [***] are recruiting mules to launder money. Google "money mule". The job (as described by the 1st poster JohnZ) is some sort of money transfer agent. They send you a check or electronic funds transfer, you keep 5%, take out the remaining 95% in cash and wire it to the criminals via Western Union to eastern EU (where domains are hosted as described by Nate is irrelevant). The check or electronic funds transfer they send you is fake or stolen and will bounce while the cash you pull from your account and send to them is *real* and you will be held liable for this money after your bank finds out the check you'd deposited is fake. The reason this convoluted method works is the difference in time it takes to process a check back to its originating bank and to send a Western Union wire; the former is days, the latter is hours; the criminals will have your cash you wired them in hand *long* before the banks figure out the check you'd deposited is bad. In addition, you may be charged with passing a bad check. Do not do it. You are in effect acting as a bank for the criminals when you agree to accept their fake check for deposit into your account, take out cash and wire it to them. They are pure criminals. Do not do it. If you do it, the criminals will have *all* your personal info - SSN, birth date, bank account - and what's to stop them from selling your info to other criminals? Don't do it. When you deal with criminals, you sell your soul. Go ahead, google "money mule".
