Who is calling me from this number and why???

Someone named Scott Nicholson from Senior Attorneys said that Easy Cash Advance is suing one of my family members for $5000.00.  My family member never heard of the company.  We looked up the company they don't even loan money, however, they will send you to a company that loans money.  

The threat was a supeona to be sent to my family members work and three charges were to be put against  the family member 3 allegations of violating feder bank regulations, Collateral Check fraud, and theft by deception.  

Unfortunately,  BBB closed right now, however, to me this is biggest scam yet!  BBB is getting call tomorrow.  Plus I am going to send this information to the police.

Caller: Seniot Attorneys name of Attorney Scott Nicholson

I received a voice mail from this person on Friday, October 29th. I called back and laid him OUT and then proceeded to call my local police department. This guy needs to be arrested asap.

Returned a call from a message on my answering device from a caller I could barely understand. I was asked if I knew about the "lawsuit against me" regarding some unpaid payday loan. Since I could scarcely understand him, I asked for a more accomplished English speaker. He began shouting at me that "[I] could just answer the subpeona that would be delivered by tomorrow at noon and appear in court."  Something about federal banking fraud, theft by check.....He hung up. I called back, got the same person, and demanded the mailing address of his law firm. He initially refused, I requested this information again as per my rights under the fair credit reporting act. He gave me the following: Jordan and Associates, 709 Scott St, City of Bastrop, TX 78602. I have searched everywhere and can not locate such a law firm. These people are frauds!!

What REALLY scares me is that these crooks had my social security number!!!

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE SAME PERSON AND HE ALSO STARTED YELLING AT ME WHEN I TOLD HE I COULDNT UNDERSTAND HIM HE GAVE ME A BAR # OF 267995.  I KNEW IT SOUNDED FUNNY BECAUSE HE WOULDNT TELL ME WHO IT WAS THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY SUING ME.

I just recieved the same call this morning... i was scared at first, but then he asked me to pay via Walmart... via prepaid debit card & that i couldnt use my own credit cards or a check... on top of that i never took or recieved money from anywhere....

Ok so if this is happening to all of us, what do we do?  This happened to me exactly 3 weeks ago and well... let's just say that I paniced!  PLEASE HELP ME!!

I just received a call from the same person claiming to be Scott Nicholson, senior attorney. He would not tell me the name of the company that was supposedly sueing me, and also would not tell me how he had my work #, which is not even known by some of my closest friends. I work for a company that only the home office number is known, not my direct line. And he had it. Also, he started shouting at me when I told him that I was not stupid, and was not going to pay him anything by prepaid credit card over the phone. He shouted that I could just come to the court house with the subpoena that would be delivered to my front door step the next day. He also insisted that I had been served with the summons 3 times by certified mail already, and should have taken care of this issue. I repeatedly told him that I was not aware of any such allegations, had no pending charges against me, and that if he could direct me to someone I could understand, I would be happy to speak to them regarding these preposterous lies. He shouted at me again and hung up. I called back only to have the same person answer. What a hoax. Someone needs to take care of this!

I received a phone call also from thus same man told him cld not understand him he began to yell at me and tell me tht my husband owed a loan of 6000 and going to be extradited to california for a trial we know nothing about this .

Thanks everyone that posted this.  My gut told me there was something about this weird accented fellow so I said I'm going to Google this senior lawyer and found all of this.  Made a police report right after.  Almost gave him $700.00. Thank you all the thing that got be was he said he was from San Diego then he for got because he told me a completly different time zone.  Thanks everyone and my amazing gut feeling.

omg i can't believe what I am reading, this phony named Scott Nicholsen also called me today at my cel and my direct line from work and put this lady on first that stated she was a paralegal and the same thing that i was getting sued and 3 allegations against me and if i was aware of this. i said no not that i know of so she puts on the phone the suppose to be senior law officer Scott Nicolsen he was trying to scare me with that if i ddn't pay 438.62 he was going to the court house and i was going to be sued for 3,550 and that he was going to have a sheriff serve me papers at my job. they knew where i lived, had my ss#, my hm, cel # and even my direct line to wk. i told him i have no problem paying for a old debt but i have to know who the company is and that is when he was getting rude with me and telling me i have a choice either pay up or he takes it to court and has them serve me the papers. i told him how do i know this isn't a scam and he said it is not and i asked ok what lawfirm and he said i work at Scott C Williams law firm in Sandiego CA and even gave me the address, but what was wierd was he insisted it to be a prepaid debit card from walmart, not my debit or bank account as my account was in default,so i said ok i will call you back when i go to the store and buy the pre paid card he says you have till 11am or this goes to court.so  i googled the lawfirm and found them the only thing was he was calling me from 510-363-3757 and that law firm started with a 619 area code . i called the lawfirm and asked for Mr. Nicholsen and they said the only attorney they had was Mr.Williams i had them look me up and they said they didn't have anyone with that name. so then he kept calling but i didn't pick up as i was at work, . i then had a old prepaid card and thought it would be funny to call him and act like i was going to pay him as the card had a zero balance on it, so i gave hm the card # and he states are you sure this card is a green dot card i said yes and he said are you sure there are funds and i said yes i just deposited $500 on that card 2 hours ago he kept trying and me and my friends were laughing and he said ok i am going to call you back and this time answer the phone and i said don't worry i will i am off from work now, and he then called me again and i cursed him out and told him i know you are a arab pretending to be american , and i know all of this is a scam and hung up at him, the second time he calls i said dont you understand you gonde , dont you speak english and hung up, i then have my friend pick up the phone and act like the lines were getting crossed and speak to him in spanish and he wouldnt even speak. i had the last laugh with this. i hope he gets caught.

My husband received the same exact call from the same person. We had a feeling about this being a scam but are very worried that he has all of my husband pesonal information. My husband is much more patient then I am and spoke to him nicely. I finally took the phone and asked for his BAR number. He gave me the #224549 and said he was registered in California. We plan to report him to who ever will listen. We find this whole thing very stressful and harassing. Good luck to you all and dont fall for it.

I had a friend that received a similiar call with the same Attorney State Bar Number.  I called the attorney and alerted him!

Did you pay him?
I did and now I don't remember the fax number that he had me fax the authorization letter to.
I reported it to the Local Police and they are trying to do something about it, but I don't have that number that I had to fax that stupid thing to!!
He screwed me for $375.12 and now will NOT answer the phone.

this number is calling me telling me that they are going to sue me... they have my personal information i have no idea who they are and i cannot understand them the guys accent is so heavy...
