other line hung up when I answered

Call almost every day.  WHO IS THIS?!! I am on do not call list

I hate it when the phone rings, I pick it up then no one speaks. Why even call? This is what happened with this number. So I called it back. I got a message saying that the google subscriber can't come to the phone. What the heck? Go away then! I am on a "DO NOT CALL" block list. So far, it hasn't worked!

Calling line hung up as soon as I answered....

phone rings and when answered no one there. Traced call to Remax Realty in Austin, Texas. LEAVE US ALONE!

Phoned this morning... did not leave a message. I called the number from a different phone (landline) and got a message that "the Google subscriber I was trying to reach was not available..." I did not reach out to anyone via Google phone. This is either a scam or a phishing incident.

Same as everyone else, this number called and hung up right when i answered.

This is a google voice number.

Keep getting calls from this number and they hang up when i answer. I am going to report it as i am on the do not call list.

Just happened again, almost 2 years later.

Same experience for me..... whoever this is calls, I pick up and then...no response... If this is Remax well, I know who I will NEVER use if we ever do decide to sell our house.

I have NO faith in do not call lists!!!!

It's not perfect and it will not stop scofflaws and criminals.   The DNC list is meant for law-abiding telemarketers.

The remaining 99% are Off Shore and could care less about DNC rules.
Get a call blocker.

Called and asked for a male with my surname and Michael for a first name.  Seemed surprised when I said there was no one with that name at this number or address.  Just hung up.

They call to find out if the number is valid, if someone answers, if someone calls back, when people are home, etc.

This caller asked for my husband by his first name. I asked who is calling, she hesitated,seemed to go off the line for a few seconds,comes back on and said,"can you hear me", I said yes of course,and she said something about Remax and if we were interested in selling our home because she had many buyers looking in our area. I said no,we weren't selling and already had a realtor. I told her there are several houses in our area for sale already. She said thank you and hung up. As a longtime service rep for a ph co, this did not sound legit,an did not sound local. Anyone can claim to be part of a co.,but may be fishing for other private info.

Caller left message - Remax Realty in Austin.

Called my landline and when I answered they hung up. Called back later and said it was Google something?
