Person using phone # of 513-239-7804 is a scammer on Craigslist!

Got a several texts from this # about an item for sale on craigslist. These people are scammers and possibly very high tech crooks. Protect yourself and your $ by any means  necessary.

Yea, me too. It was the usual ploy: I have a mover, he'll pick it up, blah, blah... Man that scam's been played to death. You'd think they'd move to a new approach.

This person has been trying to scam me for several days. Upon me wiring $500 through Western Union, they will release their money for my Craigslist items......I don't think so!!!

We were selling a piece of equipment, this number texted me back saying they had no problem with our price and would send a truck to pick it up. Sounded fishy...so glad we checked this site before we got scammed!

Just googled this phone number because it was too good to be true, too anxious wanted to pay by paypal immediately and have truck pick up, didn't even want to see photos!!!! of what I was selling ...really nice try but no cigar lol.

He was ready and willing to send $1500 to my paypal also. Too good to be true!!! I think this guy likes to offer money to people who have had their ads on for awhile. Won't fool me sucka

Scammer trying to get vintage guitar without seeing it. Wants me to open paypal account. Has someone worldwide that can pick it up. Asap mentioned over and over.

I just got text from him as well. I've seen it before but only through emails. I know it's a scam but how? To get your paypal acct number? To get you to wire money first?

Texted me and said they wanted to purchase ASAP...

SCAM... REPORTED TO South Carolina Cyber Crimes division (FBI)...

I got three texts from this number for items I have on craigslist. I can,t believe the scammers just feeding off the internet.

this guy is a scam tried to pay 700.00 extra money for item he had never seen I gave him my paypal account. I am so glad I found these posts!!

just got same txt msg... but beware he is using two different numbers.  919.627.1558... same nonsense from that number as mentioned above.  replied to both and only the 919 number responded.  hinky.

I have rec'd texts from this individual as well.  Based on the text in msgs he has sent to me, I believe he is based in the UK or Europe using a US number.    Same strategy as those listed above.....be careful!

to get your accounts and funds.    do not list your email and spell out at least one of the numbers in your phone number....ie....(123) 456-789one

I just realized this person is using other people's phone numbers or, as least parts of them, to send out the same msg.  The first one sent to me had a different set of numbers.  The second one he sent me used a part of my number.  This is scary!  How do they get so many numbers?
