I have texts from this number, scam from CL Its a weak scam at best that works off of fear. I think the best move is to report it.

THis call is a blackmailer and it is a federal offense to do this. report these calls and text to the FBI.

Learned its a Google Voice number and can't do a reverse look-up....they typically use the number for a few days then get a new one and move on...

I am still wondering how the creep gathers the personal information?  Other than giving him my cell number, which is not my regular cell anyway, how could he figure anything out?  This guy is a real scary one and I hope that the Feds get him soon.

yes that is the scarey part how he gets your name and the names of others in your family...prob gets it through spokeo or something similar to that .... have not heard back from the scammer ..i think if you don't go through with the original demand for $$$ they move on....

No I don't think so....as I look back at the texts its definitely a bot ... language and grammar was too good to be a dirt bag....it hasn't contaacted me since the initial day .......like I said if you didn't give in they just move on to the next person...

He is on Craiglist and was able to pull my name up.  I think addressing this to Craigslist might help as they must have the email and ISP of the person doing this.
