I answered an ad through craigslist in regards to a rental house. This man claimed his name was Gary Ruggles.  His wife and him purchased home when they first were married. He stated he was a Reverend and unexpectedly was invited to go on a 5 year mission as christian followers.  Speaking with him many times with this phone # as well as emails.  He played me to the very end and was good.
He made me feel as if he could not trust me because it was his home and all.  Asking me if I was a christian.  In his emails, ending and signing out as God bless me.  Anyhow all red flags where there.  Now that I look back on the situation.  Like they say if to good to be true, it probably is to good!  I sent a security deposit western union 700.00.  This was to hold the home.
I new it was a scam as soon as he wanted more money and agreement started to change.  This guy has even a lease he sent me, through google drive,  it all looked so legit.  
The funny thing is any western union over 300.00, receiver must show picture ID to recieve.  Therefor, he has fake identification.

someone hacked my account and sent a e-mail that I was in the Urkraine and needed 2000.00 dollars or what ever you could afford. Responded and ask that they call back and they did twice using this number.?

called said he was from Microsoft and my computer had been infected...was very convincing...knew my name and everything...had me send him $299 to fix my computer thru paypal...as he was working I called Microsoft and they said he was a hacker...so i shut the computer down amd had OmniTech undo what he did....he must have called me 20 tyimes during the 6 hours it took to fix my computer...2 days later he just called to see why I shut the computer down and I told him because I called Microsoft and they said he was a scammer and a hacker so screw you...he told me to f*ck off and hung up...he had an Indian accent claimed he was Billy Morris...lol

His real name is Hamlet Simonyan... He is the biggest crook we have ever seen! Scams everyone he contacts. I hope the FBI catches up with him. He screwed me for a lot of money.

Answered call...called my cell phone. Said I had just won 26 million from Publishers Clearing House.
I need to send a cashiers check to Brooklyn NY to Fabion Clarke to claim my prize.

Got a call from a guy named Raymond Johnson. He said he was from publishers clearing house, and that I had won $500,000 and a car. He said I had to either deposit $104 or put at least $50 in my debit card to register with it. He also kept on asking if I had seen any of the television programs where they presented money to people. He called me back on 876-545-8816

he called me and pretend to be an agent of my virus protection program. He want to refund me because my version is expired and I let him log in my laptop and he try to steal money from my bank account

Since the scammers accessed the computer, they probably did one or more of the following:
• Disabled the anti-virus software
• Added nasty malware to the computer
• Copied the Contact List (so they can spam/email your soon-to-be ex-friends)
• Copied any financial data or passwords they could find
• Compromised your ID
• "Zombied" the computer, so it would respond to THEIR commands sent via internet
• Deleted some important files
• Asked for money to repair the damage they caused

What can you do immediately after such an attack?
1.  Pull the cables on the computer, or otherwise disable it, so it cannot access the internet.
2.  Change ALL  passwords stored on the computer.
3.  Run FULL malware scans on the computer, in "SAFE" mode!
4.  Change the passwords again, particularly if the malware scans showed anything.
5.  Inform your bank and credit card companies.
6.  Sign up for credit monitoring, and check the status frequently
7.  You may have to bring the computer to a local repair shop, and tell them the story.
8.  Tell friends what happened, so they can be aware of strange emails from you.
9.  Connect to the internet only AFTER all the above have been done.
10.  Change the passwords on all online accounts.  Even better - access a "safe", uninfected  computer, and change your online account passwords RIGHT NOW.

NOTE:
If your computer set a "Restore Point" while it was infected, any "System Restore" you make will re-infect your computer.  Suggest you delete any potentially infected restore points and avoid setting such restore points until after your computer has been thoroughly cleaned!

Honest computer companies do NOT cold-call people, or cause popups from websites to tell them their computers need fixing!

Some scammers even have websites, and falsely advertise they are associated with popular software packages or computer companies; so do NOT believe a "we will fix your computer remotely" site, and allow them access to your computer!
