I continuously receive hang up calls from this number.  I wish there was some way to make it stop.

They call at least 5 times per day and it's nothing, then I get a dial tone. I tried to call it back and it does nothing then gives me a dial tone. Who is it????

there is call from this number .and no dial tone no nothing  on the other end  and now it,s this number is no longer in service

My wife and I started receiving calls from the same number. They hang up as soon as you answer.

So tired of these calls ..... They call but hang up as soon as you answer...what is the point?  If they are sales calls why not speak?

Receive calls everyday after repeatedly asking them to remove my number, now they hang up on me, but today husband answered, they wanted us to switch from AEP Electric to them. My husband replied we've contacted attorney generals office, they still pressured him to change, when he asked for name of company they hung up. I have repeatedly advised, I have Ovarian Cancer stage lllC, please quit waking me up. One guy replied, "If you would look at the coupons in your electric bill you would change to us." To which I replied I did see coupon, I choose not to use you. I have logged every date, time and caller I'd written to attorney general's office, got response, they denied ever calling you, nothing more they can do! If anyone can help please reply. Thank You!

I received a call.  Claimed to be with Toledo edison and as a Toledo Edison customer did I want to make my bill cheaper.  I am not even on their service.

They have called me twice -- the first call, they claimed to be with Toledo Edison and wanted me to switch carriers to lessen our bill, when I told them (several times) "I do not want to switch anything" the guy got rude and said "well then you keep your 6 cents per kilowatt hour."

Just got a 2nd call -- and there was no one on the other end of the phone line after I said hello.

According to Toledo Edison, this is false advertising as they do NOT solicit for them.  It's an outside telemarketing firm.

The company is called APG&E (affordable plan gas and electric). They are from Houston Texas and hire independent consultants that have access to your name and address and say they represent your electric company. In my case the man said represented Toledo Edison and wanted to know if I received the paper inside my bill for the special offer to get cheaper electric. Which I know this to be false because Toledo Edison does not have this number of mine nor would they call from a number that is unable to receive calls. He called me 7 times in one day and I told him to remove my number and he continued to call. I then called APG&E directly and gave them his name and number and told them to remove my number and that I was filing a report with authorities for harassment and committing fraud by saying he representing a company that he doesn't. Their number is 1-877-LIGHT-57 (544-4857) Tell them you want to file a formal complaint and that you are contacting the authorities and then call your Electric Company and report this to them.  

I just called the number given above, 1-877-544-4857, and ripped them apart. I was promised I would be on a do not call list and I also told them ONE MORE CALL and I'm calling the police or anyone who will listen, and I also recorded the call. I suggest everyone flood the above number with calls. They tired to get personal info from me and I told them all they needed to know was my phone number to take me off their list. Do not give them any info, just your phone number.

How can I make this stop...I've noticed that's it's no reply when I answer and nothing when I call back, but it has dialed my house more than ten times yesterday and already 3 times today....I'm angered and want it to stop

Just got another call...this time my husband answered and yelled at them to stop calling my house...someone on the other end said hello and then nothing! This is out of control! 10 times yesterday and already 3 today! Seriously?! WTF! HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP?!

Stop calling.

They called several times over the past three days.  I finally used a trick I learned from the police:  press "O" and then say "operator, this is the call I asked to be traced."  This did make the caller say that he had dialed the wrong number.  I told him he's been calling the wrong number several times a day.  He said no I didn't.  I said, yes operator, please continue with the trace.  Hopefully that will take care of it.

they call me everyday ,morning afternoon and evening, very annoying , stop calling me ! Dumb ass!

Claimed to be Dominion and that I was entitled to a discount on my next gas bill if I wasn't on government assistance or in Dominion's "space heat" program.  She wanted me to get a copy of my latest bill, giving me the opportunity to web-search the phone number.  I found information to confirm that I should be suspicious.  I told her I had the bill.  She then transferred me to her supervisor.  The supervisor wanted to confirm personal information (address, account number, etc.) .  I asked her if she was with Dominion.  She replied that she was.  I stated that since I had a Dominion account she would have that information and I should not have to supply her with it.  Sh said she just needed to cofirm it in the computer.  I told her I felt it was a scam and hung up.  [During the call, several times, I could hear them covering the phone and whispering but could not make out what they were saying.]
I followed up with a call to Dominion.  The Dominion agent said that suppliers frequently call Dominion customers attempting to get them to switch.  She added that they should NOT be claiming they are with Dominion.  She recorded the phone nmber and entered a complaint and offered to restrict the information given to suppliers regarding my account.
