These idiots just called my girlfriend and said they were coming after her for check fraud they are not a real company.

I'VE GOTTEN TWO CALLS FROM THESE PEOPLE SAYING THAT THEY ARE COMING AFTER MY DAUGHTER FOR CHECK FRAUD.  I WAS TOLD THAT IF SHE DIDN'T CONTACT THEM BY 5PM TODAY THAT THEY WILL HAVE THERE ATTORNEY TO CONTACT MY COUNTY TO HAVE MY DAUGHT ARRESTED.  I TOLD HER THAT SHE WOULDN'T BE IN UNTIL ABOUT 10PM.  I WAS TOLD THAT IF I COULD PAY $ 2000 + DOLLARS THEN THAT WOULD SPARE MY DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY EMBARRESMENT OF BEING HANDCUFFED AND TAKEN TO JAIL.

These lady bridgette told me the same thing..theyre just trying to scam people she saying she gonna filef some fraud charges on me.i talk to the sheriffs dept they told me it was a scam...

They told me that I applied online for a payday advance with a company called netcash and I had to pay $270 or else I would have 2 felony warrants out for me. "Bridgette"  told me that the amount requested from netcash is so low that I probably didnt even receive the money. So even though I didn't get any money from a place I never tried to get a payday loan from I still have to pay them money or else I would have 2 felony warrants for me?!?! Anyways, she then told me that they didn't even have my paperwork anymore that it was sent to the state attorneys office in my county. I called the state attorneys office,the district attys office & the sheriffs dept and they all told me it was a scam and if they call me again, to request the information in writing. Lady named Shaun called me told me I had two felony warrents out for check fraud for not paying payday loan.She said if I didntpay the 3000 I would be picked up and held without bond.Has anyone else had this happen to them

I got a call from them today for my husband...she was talking really fast ands she said if he didn't call them by 5pm today they would turn it over to my county attorney and the would issue warrants for 2 felony charges. It was SCARY but I think it's bogus.

513-330-9718 call from a Mr. Bailey who said he was a fraud investigator and he was looking for my daughter.  He said there was some check fraud and if she did not return the call she would go to Jail.
Mr. Bailey also said they would have the vehicle she drove taken away and she would go to jail for check fraud.
This is a debt collector who has violated the law.   I am reporting them for giving false information.

My mother in received call today stating warrants were to be issued at 1 pm today for myself, my son and a friend unless I paid $1200 to ACE CASH EXPRESS before 1 pm my son and friend were references however this Detective Thomas Gibson with the federal fraud investigation check fraud division stated they were also responsible since they stated they knew I was good for the loan they too would be charged with two felony charges 1) intent to defraud institution. 2) worthless check

i got the same call form thomas gibson he is not a detevtive i went to the policy and file on them this is a scam

yea they just called me today saying i owed 1200 dollars but they talked to the play and they would take two hundred off and just pay 1000 by 5 pm or they would issue warrant for my arrest... some people need to get a life and quit trying to scam others

They called my parents this morning to tell them I was going to jail.  I have never been to jail in my life and I am in my 40's.   They have broken many laws under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.   When I called back, the man "Art" was quite rude and could not provide me any information.   I highly doubt I will be arrested today or any other day as there is no debtors jail in our state...

Now they are calling my best friend?   WOW.  I am not sure how they are getting all this informaiton.   But, I am still not in jail....

Everyone getting calls from this company (and they do use multiple numbers), please go to the better business bureau and look them up. They have 5 complaints filed against them, one of which I filed myself. There is an alert on this phony company...... do NOT give them any info or confirm anything to them. They called me using the names Brian Miller and Glenn Ross. They had my bank institution, my old employer, my ss#, my fathers name, and my old address. Their tactics are completely illegal. As Jo mentions above, please know your rights and research the Fair Debt Collection Act. Any legit business has to send you documentation of a debt by mail. I asked them to do so, they refused. They offered to send it via email, and I said no, as anyone can make something on the computer and send it via email. I said I would only accept it certified mail. They began calling a woman that I became related to thru marriage just 3 years ago, and just met for the first time 2 years ago. They would tell her that I'm in a lot of trouble because of a debt. They claim I listed her as a reference 5 years ago for a payday loan. How does that work when I only became aware of her 3 years ago??  They claimed that they would file an affidavit against me and that was over a month ago. I started fighting back, and now they are magically gone and the BBB told me they were unable to locate or contact this business.  Please beware! Do not let these jerks scare you into anything!!!!!

Very important:  above all else, file an online complaint with the federal trade commission about these/this company.

OMG!!! I just got a call from Thomas Gibson after he called my grandmother, telling her that they are going to arrest me & if she don't tell them where I am at they were going to come & arrest my uncle said they address to them an everything...When I called him back he told me it was for one of those payday loans & if I don't settle with them by 5pm today that a warrant would be issued for my arrest. So when i got off the phone with him (scared to death) I google him & found this web site, thanks for the heads up. Knowing it's a scam I feel alot better! The number he called from was 513-433-5590.

These people are harrassing family members with threats and harsh language. There is a person by the name of "Barksdale' or something similar callin from 866. 260.3177 and representing this company.  He has placed my elderly father in danger due to his health with his threats and abuse. This is being reported to the Attorney General's Office, as this sort of terrorist behavior is unnecessary. With that, this person can't give information on any company that he is calling to collect for. I believe this is a scam and they need to be stopped immediately.

They are doing the same thing to me they have contacted everyone who knows me . An have said a warrant has been issued for me .. I'm tired of this harassment wish it would stop . This is going way pay my American right an the fdcpa law !!!!

Thomas Gibson called from the "fraud dept @ Check Investigative Services" and left an urgent message to return his call. I suspected it was fishy but called back anyway and hung up when I heard the telemarketing in the background. He immediately called me back and said, 'how can i can help you?" I hung up and he called back several times. I finally told him not to call my house and he started telling me was going to send law enforcement to my house, casually throwing out my street name. I was reading this post as he talked and told him so.
