"Paramount Recovery Services" - collection agency from Mason, OH.

Repeatedly calling my number about a delinquent account that actually belonged to the previous owner of my phone number, and won't take no for an answer.

Repeat calls to my house looking for my son and his wife. says I am lucky she is calling me, and not just taking court action against them.  She is rude, and very abrasive, I tried at first to just hang up but this did not work. I will write a letter and see if that stops them.
It is not even my debt.

that bob guy there heard my sexy voice and began hitting on me.. I told him no I dont like men and he sd he loves to ride pole.......

SOME LADY NAMED SHANNON FROM THIS COMPANY CALLED MY FRIEND AND HARRASSED HER REGARING SOME DEBT THAT I SUPPOSSIBLY HAD. SHE WOULD NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION BUT WARNED HER THAT I BETTER CALL HER BACK OR THERE WOULD PROBLEMS NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF BUT FOR HER ALSO, SINCE SHE WAS USED AS A REFERENCE. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS COMPANY CALLING MY FRIENDS AND THREATENING THEM. PARAMONT THINKS THAT THREATENING PEOPLE GET THE JOB DONE. TOO BAD IT JUST MAKES THINGS WORSE. THEY SHOULD SEND THEIR EMPLOYEES BACK TO TRAINING.

If they are threatening court action but doing nothing, file a complaint against them with the FTC.  They cannot make the threat when they have no intention of following through.  It places them in violation of the FDCPA.

WHAT KIND OF DEBT COLLECTIONS ARE THEY FOR? I KEEP GETTING A CALL FROM THEM TOO.

This time a John Snyder called. Their phone #888-332-7252. Many calls over the last 5 months. They will not stop calling even if the debt is not ours but our son's who no longer lives with us. I have asked repeatedly to stop calling he no long lives here. They keep on calling.

Some guy w the initials M.S.T called me and asked me to pay my unpaid bill??? I mean wtf... this is america ...Then he started coming on to me and telling me how my voice sounded really pretty and could probably give me a discount cause of how hot I sounded...I was outraged like I had been verbally raped..... I was thinking man Im a guy ...This dude is hitting on me ..I got scared and hu ....

513-332-0032 they called a neighbor looking for me which is very unprofessional.  this had better not happen again or i will report them to my local authorities.

OMG- that's hilarious!  I'm definitely going to call and leave a message.  These guys just started harrassing me.  They will be sorely dissapointed in their wasted efforts.

just a heads-up.  This scammer outfit which also uses the number 888-332-0032 advertises on the web at http://www.debt-collection-stopper.com .  The website presents itself as if it is a consumer protection agency out to 'protect' you against ARS National Debt collection and their abusive practices.  So, the website has a webform to fill out with your contact info so that they can have an 'attorney' call to arrange a possible class-action suit against ARS (at least that is how they market on the website).  They are in fact just a collection agency - likely owned by ARS.

Here's the what appears to be a fraudulent misrepresentation on their website:  "If you are being harassed by a debt collector, please fill out the form below for a FREE attorney consultation.
Are debt collectors:

•Calling you or others continually? •Harassing, threatening, or lying?
•Being otherwise unfair or abusive?You could be entitled to money for the damages you've suffered if your debt collector is violating fair debt collection laws. YOU HAVE RIGHTS, don't be intimidated! "

Please Help me I keep getting calls from these people and i keep verifieing with them they have the wrong person and they insist its me after i have told them to stop calling me and some how they got my work number and there telling me I have a debt with a company I never heard of or even know what it is and the girl who calls me asks to speak with my payroll department after i told her to stop calling my job.I dont think that is legal.

Hi David. As you most likely know the ins and outs of how this company works can you post for everyone how to get them to stop calling ? I have them calling constantlly. My debt to them is paid but they keep saying I owe more. I have told the contacts that they are calling to go ahead and have fun playing with them.. Dont believe a word they say and use them as stress release... Works for me..and my coworker takes the calls and we have a lot of fun watching her ream them out.. Noone believes a thing they say and you would think with the treatment we give them they would quit. but they continue to be annoying.

But what will the management do? They obviously are calling to get money for the company and these tactices are encouraged. I wouldnt think it would do any good judging by the number of complaints.
