Received this call and when I called back, it just keeps saying 'You'r call is very important to us, you'll be transferred to the next available agent'. After several minutes (maybe 5), it says 'good bye' and disconnects.

Person called from this number claiming he could help lower my electric bill and asking for the account number on my current electric bill.  My son happened to pick up the line and recognized the persons voice from another call from a different number that I recived ealier in the year.  After doing some research on the issue, my son informed me this was a SCAM.

This number calls, when I answer no one answers.  I say hello 2 times if no answer I hang up.  I
am tired of these calls.  

Caller knew my first & last name and said he was from City Gospel Mission and they would be sending me a letter in the next few days, asking for donations to keep them open.  He said I had donated 39 times over the years and this would be my 40th donation.  Since I was familiar with them and had donated regularly for many years my red flags didn't go up.  He then asked if I wanted to designate an amount.  Told him no, I'd have to see what I had available and to just send the letter.  He thanked me and said he could email me a notice and read off an email address asking if it was still valid.  I never had an address like the one he read off to me,  my red flags went up, so I told him no that I don't do email anymore.  He thanked me and told me to be looking for a big red envelope from them in the next few days.  I thanked him and hung up.  I notified City Gospel Mission that someone may be using them for a scam.
