3 calls in 5 minutes from an annoying telemarketer who is calling collect.

Called may 30th at 2pm introducing himself as James and saying that he is calling me from an auto dealer asking if I ordered a car...he knew my first name and asked for my last name which I didn't give then hung up.I called number back and the voicemail said magic jack.com..I called Verizon and they said number came from cincinatti,Ohio

they call me at 1 30 am this ``f`` number!!

[***] calls repeatedly,, call number back and it says Magic Jack customer not available

He left a message on my phone with a heavy African accent, couldn't understand anything he said because he was laughing in between.

Leaves obnoxious and rude voicemails

She called and it sounded like she was at a party. And she said "Ohhhh you can't forget about me" and I said that you had the wrong number. And she said "Oh I don't have the wrong number." She sounded drunk.

Had an ad on Craig's list for a personal assistant job based out of McAllen Texas. I responded with a resume. He texted me from the number 2249984571 at 3 am.   This is his email Davidluis1950@gmail.com : Gooday,

You are allowed to open the packages to reveal its content.
The content of the packages are computer and electronics, clothings
business , Artworks and personal letters.
All expenses and taxes will be covered by me.
You will work between 10 and 15hrs a month.
How much will you charge per week? I will pay $600.00.
That is not a bad offer is it? .
I need your service because I am constantly busy with many contracts
and meetings atimes.
I work in real estate and I owned an Art Gallery in the State.

He will offer to pay your full asking price plus extra for shipping without ever seeing the dress.  He pays by cashier's check.  You ship the dress.  The cashier's check is a well-made fake.  It bounces, but it may take several weeks or months.  You have to pay the bank the amount of the check plus a bounced check fee.  He communicates by email or text to hide his foreign accent.  

Don't deal with him.  Insist on cash payment in person.

I'm selling my wedding dress on Craigslist as well. I just received the same exact email johnymax28@gmail.com  with the same phone number 513-394-8070.

Received the exact same email regarding a wedding dress for sale on Craig's list, but he used the email garythompson234@Gmail.com. I thought it was weird that a guy from Ohio was looking for a wedding dress in Boston!

Got the exact same message from Gary Watson. SCAMMERS! Do not believe a word they say.

I would have really loved to come for the inspection but due to my work frame it just won't fit in my schedule but more pictures will be deeply appreciated. My mode of payment will be by cashier check which will clear within 24 to 48 hours and it will be send via courier service which will be delivered to you between 1-3 days. I'll be responsible for the pick-up besides the movers/pick up money will be included with your payment so as to avoid delay and to enable movers to schedule an appropriate time for the pick-up at your location after the check is been cashed as I have other properties to be moved alongside yours. My wife got a call from this number they left a nasty message I tried calling it from my phobe abd it said I couldnt because they hadnt called my phone so I used my wifes phone abd they answered and called my wife a scammer so I had it out with them

Guy called us in response to a rental property...states he is Wilfred Smith..very heavy accent. States if we send him a 600.00 deposit..he will send us a key and we can rent the house.

Got calls & texts from this number in conjunction with other numbers claiming to be different people from World Wide Technology. They/he used real names from the company when we looked on the WWT website. They were offering a job.  It was a quick hire process.  Found the numbers on 800notes.com figuring that it was a scam.  Thank you previous posters.

First I received a message on fb from them posing as one of Publisher Clearing House's team members Danielle Lam but the last was spelled "Lampbth". Stated I was the winner of this month's prize but had to contact me to verify where I lived and whether or not I wanted to awarded privately due to a previous einner's death. I didn't include my phone number when I signed up in PCH's actual website so I didn't think anything of it when they asked for my number to call me.
They called from this number, (513) 394-8070, and explained again the reason. Was pretty convincing. Said I would need to send $399 that would refundable today upon delivery of prize to have a lawyer file the taxes of the winnings for me. Even stayed on the phone while I rode the bus home to meet him to show everything was legitimate.
Needless to say, the winner was awarded in Texas, there was nobody to meet me, and they got the money.
He even called me back to tell me that it would tomorrow or Monday. Insisted that everything I checked and verified was false and he's completely legit. No such luck. They both had thick accents and there's an echo of your own voice when talking to them.
