I Google this company today and mow they're calling my cell number!! I only browsed the site and did not leave any personal info.

Did you find out who they are?

I didn't recognize the number,so I didn't answer.

A woman called, asked for me by name and said she was from Work America. /she said they were working to fund legislation to raise the minimum wage.  Maybe it's just me, but I do not trust people I do not know who call me on my cell phone.

I looked up the real number for the real Work America and this wasn't it. So Josh's mistrust was well-placed. I take it a step farther, though. I now do not answer calls from numbers I don't know or without a clear caller i.d. that registers with me. Also, I have a phone blocker. Without it, I'd be answering these calls all day.

I received a call from this number.  I didn't answer, but I recently gave my cell phone number to Work America.  Based on Josh's comment I would suggest it is a valid Work America number, as large organizations often have more than one number.

Ahhh, not "Work America," guys -- WORKING America.  It's a nonprofit, and I used to work for them.  Now I know why they were calling, thanks. :)

Are these two different sources...one is Working America," the legitimate organization, and the other is " Work America," which is....
1) The same legit organization with a variation of a valid number or
2) A non-legit company spoofing the legit one?

Always calls especially at night!!!!  There is no end to these calls!!!  We do not answer any call not recognized!!!!  Wasting our time!!!!

I recently gave my number to Working America.  Based on the other posts here, I suspect that this number is Working America, but I did not answer and no message was left.
