tied redialling the number after reciving calls tonight and was told in no uncertain terms by someone who sounded indian to go F^&* myself

great fun and good for a laugh!

i then manually dialled the number and received the messah=ge with an option to remove our number

My wife has been gettng these calls and not answering the phone.  What is their purpose?  Is it a scam or just annoying?  Are there other motives behind calling?

Annoying but if you call back, its a recording so you don't have to deal with people. Listen for about a minute and then enter your number to take it off of their list

Thanks for the info.  This company has been calling my cell phone for about 6 months now.  I never thought about calling them back.  I typed my number in to have it removed.  Hopefully they get the message!

They called me around 7pm. (Dinnertime, of course.) I answered her questions and just as she determined how many people were in my household, the line went dead. Had me really freaked until I remembered to *69 (I don't have caller-ID). Then did a search online and got this site. Glad they were at least legit. And, since reading your comments here, glad the call got cut off.

Will call and have my name removed. Immediately.

This number keeps calling my husband's cell phone. They repeatedly call and do not leave messages. We are wishing to get these people to stop calling us!

You people calling back to "remove your number from the list" should think twice.  What you're actually doing is verifying for them that there is a live person at your number, who is alert enough to respond to things in the manner in which you do.  Why would they want to remove you?  They're putting your number on a list of positive responses they've received and selling it to other businesses, who will likewise spam-call you or reverse engineer your number and send you paper mail.

People, you don't feed unwanted pests, do you?  Don't feed this one!

they called me today for the 3rd time and i finally picked up. after the man told me what he was for i kindly asked him to take my name off of his calling list. he replyed "you're name isnt on our list or we would've asked for you by name!" and he hung up. they are jerks and i'm sick of them calling me... i then called the number back and punched in my number, hopefully they quit calling!!

i read this message by you and just wondered if putting your number in actually made them stop calling you...b/c this is the first time i have gotten a call from them and i don't know whether it would be a better idea to let them just wonder if i am getting the calls or actually call back and attempt to block them b/c that might open up another can of worms!...thanx in advance!

Maybe if everyone who gets a call from these numbers, just keeps war dialing, it'll tie up their lines....

I've also received calls from them today.  I don't know who they are, and I never asked them to call me.  There must be a way to make them stop.

I hope they're not those idiot telemarketers from India.  If they are, one should just curse them out!

These people are terrible.........they have called me three summers in a row.....every time I ask them to stop calling me (at first I was very polite, but then when they kept calling day after day, over and over...... last year I even cussed them out and THEY STILL CALLED THE NEXT DAY. I added my number to their own do not call list but I'm sure they'll be calling me back again......soooooooo annoying!!!
