These callers have also used the following other numbers between 9/15/10 and 9/23/10:
513-556-5095, 513-556-5142, 513-556-2311, 513-556-1472

The caller hangs up in response to an answering machine.  If you answer personally, they identify themselves as University of Cincinnati, conducting a health survey.  The survey went on for 5 minutes or so before I terminated it because the questions became increasingly detailed and too personal.  Although they will tell you it is anonymous, that's not really true - because it is linked to a phone number.  What they tell you about anonymity could easily change and you have no legal recourse.

They have also called back, once.  I told them to remove me from their list.  I do not know yet if they will respect that.  In my case, I can block these numbers if they do not.

4to 5 calls in one day -no message

They never leave a message. I've blocked one, maybe two, of their numbers and am going to block this one too. The call at least once a day for the last week. I answered once but didn't say anything and they waited and then hung up without speaking.

"Hi this is Cheryl Lee from the University of Texas Health and Science blah, blah, blah...hello?,...Hello?" click and nothing. The only reason I picked up was to ask to be put on their "Do Not Call" list. Caller ID says Cincinnati, OH. The calls are from the University of Cincinnati's Health and Science Center and they are wanting you to take a survey that according to others gets very personal. The slew of numbers that they have and have used on my home number is ridiculous. All of these numbers begin with area code 513 and prefix 556,...2311, 0840, 2312, 2310, 5140, 5142, 5099, 5095, 1472, 5085, 6211. That's 11 numbers that I have blocked on a phone that only blocks 30 callers maximum. And they are one phone surveyor! When they first started calling I answered the phone thinking it could be someone we knew but they hung up when I answered. I looked them up here and found out they were a health survey and blocked there number with our Panasonic phone. The caller ID is always the same and they never leave a message. When they call and the number is blocked they wait about two minutes and call right back. They hear a busy signal. We hear a single ring and the message "Caller Blocked" shows on our phone. If you called a person using eleven different phone numbers you would think someone working with a University,(supposedly educated), might get the idea that nobody at that number wants to talk to you!? From other victims I've found this e-mail address as the person responsible,....Richard.Deprato@uc.edu,....for the ongoing phone calls. I've also heard of others being cursed and hung up on. I've already reported them to the FCC but I think that's equivalent to farting in the wind. A curse on The University of Cincinnati, Richard Deprato and all his callers. May you all experience hell on earth. You are something beneath the scum of the earth. Scum excrement. May you find failure in all your pursuits.

That should be "their" and not "there" in the sentence containing "...blocked there number...."
