- KariReceived 1st call today and message stating she wanted to set up an interview. I think she said American Income. Probably another insurance company that got my # off Monster or another site
- Caller: American Income
- KellieI got the same message. When I post to Monster, I don't want people contacting me if they aren't even positions I'm qualified for or have even shown an interest in before! The lady who left the message was very nice, I just don't understand why they'd waste their time when I am in the medical business, not insurance
- Caller: American Life
- DustinI just recieve a call from aig which i did post my resume on monster.Iam not in this insurance line of work iam going to school right now for a power lineman utility worker which i got couple weeks left. The lady who called sounded really nice but not sure if i should call her back.
- Caller: AIG
- Get RealInsurance companies 'farm' all the time for new slaves. That's because it's lousy work, and most new hires quit once they realize what they got themselves into. Some cell and phone carriers will let you block a certain number of phone numbers for free [Verizon allows 5 before they start charging for blocking more numbers]. These repeated calls and 'robo calls' are, of course, illegal.
- MarkReceived call from this number wanting to set upo an interview. Caller did not field my questions very well. Company identified as "Torchmark". Position for entry level management. Everything was very vague.
- Caller: Torchmark
- shawn denniscall every 15 min 3 times day
- JimThe number called but did not leave a voice mail. Probably better off since I am not in the insurance bizzz...
- LizOkay, I'm confused by all these other comments bc I received a call from this number saying that she does Safety Kits. After looking up these things I'm very concerned.
- Caller: Safety Kits for Kids
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- MattThe old lady just called to offer a position as a manager. Of what I don't know. When I asked why someone would offer me a postion in management being as I never held a management postion. I was told that she didn't have to tell me why. Then proceeded to hang up on me. Very rude and confusing. Such a scam!
- TammyA lady called me and asked if a was still looking. I told her that I was open to new possibilities. Then she hung up on me.
- Caller: American Life
- BLGot a call from a very nice lady wanting me to interview for a sales job. She backed off when she heard that I was mobility impaired and would not likely to be able to walk without crutches or a walker.
- Caller: ?????
- mmcCalled my home. I don't ant any calls from sales insurance companies.
- Upbeat GrannyWho are these people? Set up for interview, promised an e-mail for follow-up for location--didn't receive one but did receive a follow-up call reminding me of interview without location on my voice mail.
- SusanStop calling
- AnonymousSame call same story. She didn't seem to want to answer any questions but claimed the manager Scott Rayberg emailed me about the position which I never found an email. I only accepted the interview out of pure declaration of wanting to work. I think I won't show and enjoy myself in Mexico and get back to my job search.

- JoanThis is a scam and I fell for it. They lied to me and told me this was not a sales position, but then after driving an hour and a half to get there, she informed me it is a sales position, 100% commission. They know the job they are offering is [***], therefore they lie to get you there. Do not fall for it!!!

- NotTHATDesperateBlind call from AIL wanting to set up an interview tomorrow. I had just posted a new resume to Monster not three days ago (Friday). Thanks to all that posted here about it, I really can't afford the gas for a 90 minute drive to find out I've been scammed, and you saved me the aggrevation.
- Caller: Brooke @ AIL
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- NatalieSame as all the other comments! BUT ITS 100% commission! Not paid for training! And you have to pay to get LICENSED to be even able to sell INSC! Then since it’s all commission based your not making any money while studying to take ur test, then paying for the test, then waiting for results, then waiting for the license to even come in. Then you get to start. But it takes MONTHS AND MONTHS to even get paid once u do start selling. So you have to build up a pipeline. So if your good with out making a penny and only shelling out cash for a good 6 months to a year. Then sure this could be for you! But if you need to make money DONT DO IT!!

- NeNe| 1 replyGot a email from a person named Kevin Holtz. He is a state general agent with American Income Life wanting to setup an interview. I recently posted a resume also. Did not call this number thanks to all the responses and I haven’t shown interest in the insurance business.
- Caller: American Income Life

- BigA replies to NeNeWell known scam company. Position is commission only and the only way you can make money is to have other people under you selling as well. This is as close to a Pyramid Scheme as you can get and still be legal.
