called twice on 08/18/14 came up Sallie Mae on caller I.d.

Calls twice a day, recorded messages.  Sally Mae, asks for wrong person, same last name, wrong first name.

Called number & asked name of business.  Was told that it was General Revenue.  When I asked what the business did, I was told that that information could not be disclosed.  Looked up name on Internet and found a General Revenue Corp.  Called the 800 number listed and asked same question.  Again was told that the information could not be disclosed.  I asked if it was a collection agency or a scam to steal identities.  Representative assured me that it was not a scam and asked if I would like to speak to a supervisor.  I responded that I would but then representative came back on the line and said that unless I conformed my name and "birthdate" she was going to have to hang up, which is what happened.
